Smithfield’s Bria Kelly ready for what comes next on ‘The Voice’ – The 18-year-old singer from Smithfield, who has gained national attention on the sixth season of NBC’s talent search reality show “The Voice,” said some people have misinterpreted a comment that aired on last Monday’s episode when she talked of her desire to “get out of this tiny town” and become a rock star. “I was purely speaking in terms of musical opportunities,” Kelly said last week in a phone interview from Los Angeles. “I’m so proud of where I’m from. It’s an amazing town, and the people are so supportive. All Signs Point To Yes For ‘Nashville’ Third Season – ABC is certainly putting its promotional muscle behind the series with the recent Nashville: On The Record taping at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. The show featured Charles Esten, Hayden Panettiere, Sam Palladio, Clare Bowen, Joshua Jackson, Chaley Rose, Will Chase, Chris Carmack and others, along with several of Nashville’s top singer-songwriters, including Jaida Dreyer, Ashley Monroe and Striking Matches. It is slated to air April 23 on ABC. Additionally, a limited Nashville tour has sold out, and an additional date has already been added for May 5 in Philadelphia.
