Union grad Melinda Doolittle juggles many projects – For Melinda Doolittle, Christmas is a special time of year, and the Boston Pops Orchestra, in part, helps ring in that feeling. Doolittle sings two songs on “A Boston Pops Christmas ? Live from Symphony Hall,” which was released in October.”I did a Christmas tour with them one year, and they asked me if I could come back and do a live Christmas recording,” Doolittle said in a recent telephone interview. “I can’t believe I’m part of the ‘Boston Pops Christmas’ now.” – Read more at Tulsa World

Carrie Underwood Considers God’s Unconditional Love – “This Scripture says that you are always loved no matter what. I love all the commas in these verses — neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor demons. It’s so powerful,” Underwood explains in the new book, Once-a-Day Country Faith: 56 Reflections From Today’s Leading Country Music Stars. “The thing that draws me as an adult is the way it reminds us of God’s unconditional love. I love it because it basically says, ‘You can make a mistake and it’s okay.’” – Read more at CMT

Adam Levine is not really into an Adam Lambert song which has a more rock vibe ? Maybe he just wants to show the reggea Vibe of Tessanne with a song that is more suitable for that purpose.. But I would love to see Tessanne doing that Adam Lambert song one day…

Some people, like Simon Cowell, just never learn…

That David Archuleta sure planned for his absence. Great to see and hear his Christmas greeting. They’ve also posted the entire Christmas Concert from Chile where David participated. After the 1 hour mark there is a sublime performance of The Prayer with David and Rebecca Lopez.

We lucky fans also received a Christmas treat from Jeffrey Christ from MTV with Jim Cantiello caroling with David throughout the MTV offices. Video at the tweeted link.

http://goo.gl/x9Fipj Merry Christmas, David Archuleta fans!

Favorite part of his write up.
“Before arriving at my office, David and Jim decked our halls with sounds of laughter and cheer – the final edited video could be found all over the web – but when they got to me and requested which song I wanted to hear, I chose one that surprised both – “O Holy Night.” It’s my favorite traditional carol and I’m always interested in hearing new versions. David’s pure voice is somewhat drowned out by a far-too schmaltzy arrangement on his CD, but his vocals more than shine. Once I had him trapped in my office, I wasn’t going to allow him to leave without serenading me with my favorite Christmas song – a capella. He obliged and…wow. He startled Jim and nearly briought me to tears. It was astonishing (as I exalted in the video). Sure, we knew he could sing, but to hear it live, in person, 2 feet in front of me…well, it haunts me still.”

Just want to say, I really like that you started this post with “Merry Christmas to those who celebrate!” I am not Christian, hence, do not celebrate Christmas. But that seems so uncommon these days so everyone always wishes everyone Merry Christmas, including me. Its always weird for me to say it back since its a religious thing for me. So it was nice to see you acknowlege that not everyone celebrates.
