‘THE PEOPLE MAGAZINE AWARDS’ ANNOUNCE GLOBAL SUPERSTARS GWEN STEFANI AND PHARRELL WILLIAMS TO PERFORM NBC’S SPECIAL TWO-HOUR LIVE TELECAST SET FOR THURSDAY, DEC. 18 AT 9 P.M. ET/PT – “The PEOPLE Magazine Awards” announced today that global superstars and Grammy Award winners Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams will perform Stefani’s new single “Spark The Fire” together on the two-hour special. Stefani and Williams join previously announced performers 5 Seconds of Summer and Maroon 5. Nick Cannon will host the star-studded event special and snapshot of the year in pop culture live on NBC, Thursday, Dec. 18, at 9 P.M. ‘The X Factor’ U.K. Draws Second-Lowest Season Finale Ratings Ever – The U.K. season finale of The X Factor on ITV on Sunday night drew an average audience of 9.4 million, becoming the second-lowest-rated season-ending episode of the show ever in the overnight ratings, according to ratings consultancy Attentional. The result was down from 9.7 million viewers last season even though Simon Cowell returned this season. A peak audience of 10.5 million, down from 11.9 million last season, watched this Sunday night.
