TAYLOR SWIFT TO PERFORM ON TUESDAY, NOV. 25 TELECAST OF NBC’S EMMY AWARD-WINNING SERIES ‘THE VOICE’ – UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – November 19, 2014 – Seven-time Grammy Award winner and global superstar Taylor Swift will perform her chart-topping new single “Blank Space” on the Tuesday, Nov. 25 telecast of NBC’s Emmy Award-winning series “The Voice.” “Blank Space,” from her chart-topping fifth studio album, “1989,” is the follow-up single to “Shake It Off,” which was #1 for four weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Carrie Underwood, The Band Perry and Trisha Yearwood Adding Star Power to “Nashville’s” CMA Awards Episode Tonight – Fans tuning in to ABC’s Nashville Wednesday night might experience a little déjà vu if they also caught the CMA Awards earlier this month. Nashville’s version of the CMA Awards airs Wednesday with engaged couple Luke Wheeler and Rayna Jaymes squaring off in the Entertainer of the Year category. Real-life CMA Awards hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley actually filmed a cameo for this episode of Nashville in the days leading up to actual ceremony. “In between our hosting meetings and duties and running through things, we were able to go up there and quickly shoot that for ’em,” Carrie says. Adam Shankman & Amy Harris Sell Ballet Drama To ABC – Adam Shankman is tapping into his dancing roots for Vamp, a drama project at ABC that has received a script commitment with penalty. Written/executive produced by The Carrie Diaries developer/executive producer Amy B. Harris, Vamp centers on a ballerina who comes to New York with her mother — a woman who gave up her dreams for her family — only to find her mother’s past in Manhattan may affect her future. Looking for release from the rigors of ballet and the society world she doesn’t understand, this young ingénue finds her escape dancing at Vamp — New York City’s most decadent and outrageous nightclub. ‘American Idol’ Jena Irene is coming home – MT: First, the cliché question: How has your life changed since the American Idol finale last May? Asciutto: Honestly, everything has kind of cooled down right now. People recognize me and I get fans who come up and say hi when I’m out. I got home for a week around Labor Day after the tour, which went about three months and was such a fun experience. I took a week off, then went right back into writing. I’m so excited to start writing my own stuff and stop singing somebody else’s stuff, which I’ve been doing for the past year. MT: What’s the status of your first solo CD?
