Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will be guests on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Tuesday October 28. No doubt to promote their upcoming gig as hosts of the CMAs.

MTV’s ‘Faking it’ Second Season Gets 10 Additional Episodes – After four episodes of its second season, MTV has decided to order ten additional episodes of comedy series Faking It, bringing its second season total to 20 episodes. – American Idol season 9 finalist, Katie Stevens stars in the series.TVByTheNumbers

Leslie Jones Joins ‘Saturday Night Live’ as Castmember – Leslie Jones has been promoted to a member of the main cast on NBC’s long-running late-night sketch comedy series, The Hollywood Reporter confirms. She will begin this Saturday when Dumb and Dumber To star Jim Carrey returns to host. The actress-comedian, who in January started as a writer on SNL, has been featured on Weekend Update numerous times since joining the program, most recently appearing on Bill Hader’s Oct. 11 episode. – Read more at The Hollywood Reporter

Trisha Yearwood Makes Her ‘Nashville’ Debut – Trisha Yearwood was on the set of ABC’s Nashville last week, where several of her professional worlds collided all at once. The CMA award-winning singer, who has also done some acting in TV dramas, will be at the real CMAs in a couple of weeks to present an award. But on this day, Yearwood joined the Nashville cast as they filmed segments for a dramatized version of the star-studded awards show, allowing the show’s fictional country stars to mingle with a few who are the real deal. In her scenes, which were shot on a meticulously constructed replica of the CMA Awards set on one of Nashville’s massive soundstages, Yearwood is seen presenting an award to another country star (although you’ll have to tune in to the episode to find out if that star is fictional or real!). – Read more at Rolling Stone
