The Target album sold about 90K all told so I’m not sure how the reissued one wiil do. But I like the new cover. :0

Aw, I like the youtube vids of Sanjaya’s new music, but then again, there was always something about his voice I liked.

I bought E’s holiday CD last year and plan to get the extended one this year. Looks like there are two new songs, and they both sound great. Last year I fell in love with “Warm Me Up” and “Let’s Be Naughty,” both of which I thought could be radio hits…if they weren’t, you know, Christmas songs.

I canÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t see where there is a market for ParisÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ Christmas cd since no one was even interested in her regular one. I wish her luck though because she has a great voice.

I was thinking of getting Paris’ post-AI album, but when I saw it on sale for $19.99 at Barnes & Noble, which definitely was not a plus for the CD, IMHO…

The best savings that they had was a $1.00 savings sticker on it, and if you belong to the Readers’ Advantage, you would save an additional 10%…
So ultimately, one saved a whole $3, which made Paris’ album $17, before whatever the state sales tax is/was, or if it even has one…

Granted, this was WAY before I was 95% on iTunes, but I defintately would NOT purchase an album that cost that much if it was ONLY a SINGLE CD!!!
Talk about price-gouging!!!

I have since borrowed the CD from of my local library, and it is OK…
But is it worth $20? IMHO, no…

A couple more that I have heard of:

Amanda Overmyer – sometime in December, although no specific date. Her first single is called “Play On” with limited release currently and it gets greater release later in September.

Leslie Hunt – titled “See Jane Dance”, sometime in October, although no specific date.

November seems like such a long wait for Cook’s album. I hope the single premieres somewhere soon. I’m dying to hear something new from him.

wow, Kelly is really the only Idol to not have a less successful followup? That’s sad. I think Carrie could break that with Carnival ride….It’s barely been out a year and is doing very well. Hopefully Kellie and Elliot will too…and all of them for that matter.

Hitsdailydouble put up their ONE-DAY sales preview. They usually predict which artists they expect to land in the Top 10. Kristy Lee Cook is not mentioned. That doesn’t bode well. I expect her to do Phil Stacey opening numbers (around 10 – 15K if she’s lucky).

Wow, it’s made a huge jump since the last time I checked it out – I think it was listed around #75. All of the new info coming out about the album is getting it some more recognition which is turning into sales, it seems. I don’t think the record has ever dropped below a 100 ranking since it was first put on Amazon nearly 4 months ago.
