The Big, Big, Big Idols Live! Tour 2008 featuring this season’s Top 10 contestants begins in Glendale AZ on Tuesday, July 1, and I could not be more excited! Yes, I will be there and plan to live blog the entire concert. Whoopee!

Also this week, Anwar Robinson, LaKisha Jones and Jon Peter Lewis begin a two-week engagment at the Rrazzroom in San Franciso on July 1. The show is directed by Michael Orland, Idol’s musical director. Sounds interesting…

Idols and more Idols on your TV screen July 4th. Katharine McPhee and Jordin Sparks appear on Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular on NBC at 9 pm, and over on PBS, it’s Taylor Hicks on A Capitol Fourth, 8 pm.

    I know Leno’s got reruns due to the holiday but its odd that The Tonight Show is running both of Cook’s appearances in the same week.

    You know what, I was wondering about that too.
    For how long do they show reruns of Leno? One week, or more?
    The shows weren’t even all that close together on their original airings, so why would they show them both so close together now? Is it the DC connection?

    Also – The tour stalking reports have started coming in. Is it OK to link to other boards, or is that off limits?

    LOL, damn I wish I was going to this concert *sigh* I saw the thread over on DC.org where a fan met the Idols in AZ and it sounded like a terrific experience. They all seemed so cool and appreciative.

    Secondly, I dont know how you are gonna do it, as I would be too amazed by the whole experience overall, trying to soak it all in, that I would, in no way be able to do a live blog.

    Looking forward to seeing the live blog – yay! Jason posted a new myspace bulletin tonight saying they are having a full dress rehearsal later – he sounds excited beyond belief – and of course so am I. Let the tour reports begin! LOL
