Me too. I got so nervous for him at the NBA game, and will be nervous for him at the NFC Championship game. I wouldn’t be nervous if he were performing one of his songs, but the NA is NOT an easy song to sing!

If Oprah is supportive of Adam, and I assume she will be, Adam will definitely get a boost. Yes, the audience for Kris singing the National Anthem will probably be tens of millions of viewers – the Ravens vs. Colts game had around 27 million (so the championship game will be more) – in addition to the fans in the stadium.

I hope it’s a great week for both Kris and Adam.

We’ll definitely be watching all of the football though at my house. So, I’m sure I’ll see Kris in real time. The NFC & AFC championship games do have huge audiences, so I too hope he does well.

I hope they do like they did at his Miami tailgate performance. They showed his picture and played his music inside the stadium during the game. Now they actually have a video to go along with LLWD and could play other cuts from the album.

I only know Kris as a fan, but something tells me he’d be thrilled to meet Favre, regardless of the fact that he left the Packers. He asked to meet the basketball players at the NBA game and gladly posed alongside them, so I think he would at least ask if he could meet some players and do his best to get photos with them, if possible.

Men who are sports fans turn into little boys in the presence of professional athletes and forget any grudge they may have against any of them. When the super bowl was in Tampa, my husband and I got to attend some related events (as well as the game itself). I watched him slowely turn into a 12 year old boy and exhibit fanboy behavior far worse than any puffy-painted AI fan at the tour barricades.

(My deep love for Adrian Peterson requires that I root for the Vikings that day, so GO VIKINGS!).

Since Katharine Mcphee played a mini-concert before the game & sang the National Anthem at the Chargers game Sunday. It would also be nice if Kris got to do the same at the NFC Charmpionship game in New Orleans. The Miami tailgate concert was great.

children of the US who were in need for supplies for the various
programs in schools….I know we would all chip in again, or, at

Adam has already been in/around a lot of big stars…..Just stop and think about all the appearances, galas, etc. events…do you get any bigger than Steven Spielberg? It’s his song, his voice that means a lot and all I am thinking of….They are raising $$ and this little country needs so very much. And re those 700k US albums “sold”, don’t get too excited. He’s probably just reached the 500k mark in ACTUAL sales. According to the RIAA, you can ship a million to be certified platinum, but not necessarily sell that many. Taylor Hicks was certified platinum but he only sold 800,000 or something like that.

ITA, I’m sure there are proper ways these things are done, by labels and managers and fans should just stay away. Twitter is not a way to try and promote your Idol in a situation like this…. Support him by introducing his music to your friends, family etc, buy music, attend shows, hey, go wild and join a blog , but leave the business actions to the business ppl!

Thank you Mj for the information regarding Adam hosting 104.3FM. I tuned in and was able to hear his voice. I would have not known about that if I did not read your blog.

I guess this is a better place for it, it seems that Adam will be on New York Fresh 102.7. Sometime between 6am-10am tomorrow. Well tomorrow to me on the Left Coast, today to you East Coast types. Is 102.7 an HAC station? Between that and the LA promo, seems that RCA is pushing for more HAC stuff, which is good. I think they should. Of course I think they should have been doing stuff like this all along, but horse dead glue macaroni art.

Nice to see Adam doing lots of radio promo. I guess they are focusing on HAC stations now? He actually did 2 radio interviews when he was in Chicago, I don’t know if the second one was ever posted here.

I have this sense that, even though radio promo would have been great to do earlier on, Adam’s team really wanted to focus more on these high profile, large exposure gigs, especially in the time leading up to and right after the album release. Part of me thinks that there just wasn’t the time to really focus so much energy on ALL of that, plus a lot of radio stuff – at least not to the extent of, say, what Kris was doing. But as Truthiness put it so well “horse dead glue macaroni art” – lol.

I hope Top 40 keeps giving WWFM love, too, though I always expected the song to do better on HAC. Doing well on both would be really really nice That angsty, hooky-ness of the song works really well imo.

If radio isn’t going to immediately embrace him as a male pop-dance-electro artist, songs like this will hopefully allow him to get his foot in the door enough to push the other kinds of music down the road (fingers crossed, stupid radio…)

I dont know if this has been posted earlier. Adam will be interviewed tmr morning on Singaporean radio. Supposedly he was on a malaysian radio today!

I thought Fresh 102.7 was an AC station – but I guess it could be Hot AC. I always think of PLJ as Hot AC and Fresh as AC.

YES! I don’t do football, but I was telling my husband that Kris would be singing at the game on Sunday, and he said that will be “HUGE” for Kris because there will be millions tuned in for that game. Yay Kris! He did a great job on the last national anthem (no runs needed for that song), so I know he’ll kill this one!
