The Kelly's- Carrie's, Fantasia's, etc normal people working normal jobs who catch a break and acheive their dream. It's not nearly as exciting for me to watch a bunch of professionals who have been at this for years but want a record deal. Sounds like a lot of real talent this year- however, my preference is the year that we have the amateurs- the undiscovereds. You know, not your average teenager, more of an old soul. His sound is unique, not like all the bubble-gum pop. The judges might have made a mistake. I'm sure they had their reasons though. I read where they told him to be sure to come back next year. They thought he could have been another Daughtry. It's hard to know what they're looking for each year.
