Lil and her family (husband and three kids) lost everything in a tornado, and sheà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s still trying to recover.

In her audition clip, she was introduced as a “front runner,” but her Hollywood performances   weren’t as impressive as her audition.   Still, she proved in the semi-finals that she can work the stage–her personality shone through her performance, which is half the battle.

Simon called her à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“retro and classyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  which, unfortunately, is code for, à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“youà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ll probably make it to the Top 12, but there isn’t a chance in hell youà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ll win this thing.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ Ãƒâ€š   Top 5 for sure.   I’m calling Top 3 or 4.
