Before British Invasion week, she was wearing lounge singer type dresses most of the time and afterwards went short and/or low cut. I think she could have dressed young without as much comment. I didn't love Alaina but she wore the cutest dress of the competition for me. I also think she would have done a great job on country week because she had planned on singing "When God Fearing Women Get the Blues" and singing it in a choir robe. And her singing, while not diva-esque, was a nice contrast to the other remaining female singers. It doesn't really take a voice of diva proportions to make a hit record. It takes all kinds; what a boring world it would be if everyone sounded the same. There are many cute, quirky gals out there that are making records and don't aspire to be a diva. In fact there are some of them around like Ashlee Simpson who have to lip synch their way through a performance and are still adored by their fans.
