Mary Sarah Looks Far Beyond The Voice – “There’s nothing like being on that stage,” says Sarah, who was born in Oklahoma but grew up mostly in Fort Bend County. “So I still get nervous but…it’s not nervous. Larry Gatlin told me, ‘It’s not nerves, it’s excitement.’ [That’s] what takes over you at the Opry. So I get really, really, really excited [laughs]. It has gotten a little easier as we’ve got on, but it’s still — like I said, it’s still the Opry.” – Read more at the Houston Press

Josh Kaufman’s doing it his own way – [When I was attached to Republic Records] I definitely went through a period of, like, “I don’t know who is doing what. Are you accomplishing anything for me? I don’t know what your day is, or how much your day includes me?” [Breaking away] was actually really easy. I think after several years of releasing stuff from winners of The Voice, I think they just got really wary. They didn’t think that they could succeed with [my release] and they were really limited as far as what they were going to do. When my manager went to them and said, “Hey, I think it’d be better for us all to just [separate],” they were like, “Okay!” And that’s it. – Nuvo.net

Big Brother: Paul sounds off on facing that ‘bitter, pissed’ jury – On if he blew it by not bringing James to the end: “I don’t know. Honestly, I’m hearing left and right — jury would have done this, jury would have done that. I honestly think that the jury was a little bit bitter and no matter what I would have done, the outcome would have been the same.” On if he was shocked by the jury vote: I was, man. I was a little bit shocked. I don’t know what more I could have done. The most in-house competition wins of the season, cleaning house towards the end of the game, really winning every single competition, and being up against two people who have played the game before. I thought it was a no-brainer, but clearly the jury was a little bit pissed, let’s put it that way.” – Read more at Entertainment Weekly

‘Big Brother 18’ Winner Talks Her Showmance With Corey and Responds to Hate From Former Players – h season 16! (Laughs)! A different, different game! Season 16 I came in, I thought I was at summer camp, I had a great time, I loved every single day in the house and didn’t work that hard. This season if I wanted anything to change I was going to have to be strategic. I had to definitely work day in, day out. No napping! [Keep] a very close watch on everything and everybody, only show my strengths when I needed to. Simply, I played emotionally in 16 and I played strategically in 18. – Read more at the Hollywood Reporter
