Justin Guarini joins cast of Frozen songwriter’s a cappella Broadway musical – American Idol alum Justin Guarini is heading back to Broadway for the a cappella musical In Transit. The production, with a team that includes Frozen co-writer Kristen Anderson-Lopez, announced its full cast and creative lineup on Tuesday morning. Joining Guarini in the cast are David Abeles (Once), America’s Got Talent contestant Moya Angela (Ghost The Musical), Telly Leung (Allegiance), Erin Mackey (Amazing Grace), Margo Seibert (Rocky), James Snyder (If/Then), Nicholas Ward (On the Town), and Laurel Harris (Beautiful). Others making their Broadway debuts with In Transit include Steven “HeaveN” Cantor (the 2012 American Beatbox vice champion), Gerianne Pérez, Chesney Snow, Mariand Torres, Adam Bashian, and Aurelia Williams. – Read more at Entertainment Weekly

Sal Valentinetti returns to “America’s Got Talent” – Singer Sal “The Voice” Valentinetti, 21, of Bethpage will return to “America’s Got Talent” on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on NBC/4. His ride on the show has been a wild one from getting the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum to winning the “Dunkin’ Save” during the quarterfinals earlier this month. Viewers can vote for Valentinetti after his performance on Tuesday until 7 a.m. Wednesday using the on-screen instructions. American Idol creator Simon Fuller lists lavish Beverly Hills mansion for $15.9 million – American Idol creator Simon Fuller has again listed his lavishly renovated mansion in Beverly Hills after slashing the price to $15.9 million. At that price, the British reality TV and music entrepreneur would make a decent profit, after snapping up the five-bedroom home for $8.5 million in July, 2005. But it’s $5 million below his initial asking price, when he listed the mansion for sale at $21.5 million in 2014, and again at $19.995 million in 2015, with no takers. – Read more at Daily News

Harry Connick Jr. Says His New Daytime Show Is ‘A Completely Different World’ from American Idol – “I had a great time on Idol, but I didn’t learn anything about [hosting] this show because it’s a completely different world,” Connick, 48, says while giving PEOPLE an exclusive tour of the program’s gleaming new set. “When they hired me to be a judge for that show I was really excited about it and I loved it, but that’s a very specific thing to do. I like hanging with people, and I couldn’t talk to the kids. That was my rule because if I was a judge, I didn’t want to lose my ability to be impartial. So if I saw them backstage I would stay away from them because I took that job seriously. But this is not that.
