Five things to know about Laith Al-Saadi – Doing the blind audition on “The Voice” is as weird as it looks. Part of the reality show’s setup is that musicians come on stage and play for four celebrity judges who have their backs turned. One of those judges will become a coach to that musician. Eventually, Al-Saadi teamed up with Adam Levine of Maroon 5, who was Al-Saadi’s preference. “It’s pretty strange,” Al-Saadi said. “I’ve played enough that I really didn’t tend to get nervous before performances of course. You’re nervous, I think, mostly because everything is so foreign.
