Are Utah and Mormon mommy bloggers creating a false perception of reality? (Brooke White Interviewed) – White still remembers sitting in the audience during rehearsals of “American Idol” and wondering with tears in her eyes why she was there. She listened as “Olympic-type singers” performed and she was “a very simple singer/songwriter.” She felt she would never be good enough. Carrie Underwood On How She Stays ~Almost~ Vegan – “It just freaked me out and that was that,” Underwood tells SELF. “I didn’t become vegan right away, but I quit eating beef and didn’t eat a whole lot of other meat,” she explains. Andrews excused herself. She was calling with the results of the follow-up tests, which were now conclusive: cervical cancer. Andrews would need surgery, and soon. She missed the Monday and Tuesday tapings of Dancing with the Stars; ABC said she took time off to support boyfriend (now fiancé) Jarret Stoll and his grieving family. (Stoll’s 17-year-old nephew had been killed in a car accident that weekend.) That, in part, was true. But Andrews was mostly dealing with her diagnosis. – Read more at MMQB
