A new music video from VEVO features Haley Reinhart performing “Wasted Tears” in Las Vegas for TouchTones.

The tune is from the Season 10 Idol alum’s retrotastic debut album, Listen!.

    Haley is everywhere, she has had so many awesome reviews on her album “Listen Up” articles in People magazine ,USA Today,OK magazine.Its a Turtle and the Hare story ;) “Free” is #32 on Rick Dees Weekly Top 40, Last week it was #39.

    Says the video is private.  I like that song though, and I like Haley’s album.

    One of my favorite songs on the album but it says the video was made private. It seems that this was supposed to be an exclusive premiere on Popcrush. Interscope goofed again.

     Haley is really pushing this song and her career….but unfortunately she reminds me of Alison Areheta….19 Recordings pushed Alison also, but she didn’t sell much. #3 girl singers don’t do well. Haley needs a “breakout”….maybe the song to be covered by another artist or on the title of a TV show? She’s a great talent and I think she has a good shot of being like Kat McPhee in a TV show.

    The video doesn’t work for me either.  Sadz.  As to the album, I bought it, I love Haley’s voice, I like many of the songs, but . . .  I hesitate.  Many of the recorded versions of the songs seem forced or pressed.  Too much vocal gymnastics jumping from lower range to falsetto, but not the organic performances that she should be giving us.  I denigrated the idea of Haley doing more with Casey because I viewed him as a bit of an albatross around her neck.  But I prefer Hit the Road Jack to most anything on Haley’s album for some reason.  Casey does seem to bring out the relaxed Haley, singing in the groove rather than jumping through hoops.  I would like to see her work with more jazz producers, I guess.  As with all things, time will tell.

    Alison Iraheta came in 4th place, not 3rd.  But I see what you are saying.  Sometimes someone can be talented and be pushed by a record label and still not have that certain something that clicks with the buying public.  I’m really worried for Haley.  Last week she sold only 4,000 copies and was getting close to falling out of the billboard top 200.  I’m scared to see her sales number for this week.  Or rather, I should say I’m scared we won’t see a sales number for her this week. Hopefully she sold at least 3,000 copies and makes the top 200 again so Brian Mansfield gets her information. Alison Iraheta sold over 100,000 copies and I’m afraid Haley will be lucky to sell half that.

    Well I was able to see the video and I thought Haley’s performance of “Wasted Tears” was lovely. She’s so dang cute in it too. Loved her little dance moves.<3

    I really hope I get to see her perform live sometime this summer. I've only seen her live once(Idol tour. Which was basically a thousand years ago. lol),and I would kill to hear that voice in a more intimate setting. Hopefully I won't have to wait until the fall to see her live again. Same goes for Kris.

    She hasn’t had much national exposure and is doing pretty good for the exposure she has gotten. A lot of new Artist would be more than satisfied with where she is now and its only getting started. She has a great look, great voice and some great writing chops. I’m optimistic about her career going forward. She is getting recognition by the top folks in the business for being the real deal. Not bad for a kid who was in a jam band and doing duty as a lifeguard a couple short years ago. Perspective is everything.
