I’m going to watch that Bruno Mars performance 100 times.  I just really enjoyed that.

Thanks for the Swifty video mj!  Little Spens will be disappointed that Taylor didn’t come on until after bedtime – so this will be a small consolation to her :).

What a class act by Jennifer Hudson!   She made it all about Whitney, not herself.   She was never even introduced and left the stage immediately afterwards.
Kudos to you, Jennifer, for a lovely tribute!

I need someone to explain Roman Holiday to me.  I never understand what NM is saying when she raps and the entire performance went over my head.

Bruno Mars stole the show tonight!! His performance was SO MUCH fun to watch. I’ve never seen him perform live before and was simply blown away…I can’t believe how much I enjoyed it.

My other faves of the night,

The Civil Wars (who are they??? Gonna check them out)

Jennifer Hudson (she did a tremendous job with something extremely difficult)

Second performance of the Foo Fighters (are the hard rock groups now relegated to the outside of the building…is hard rock now in Time-out at the grammys or something? That was very odd)

    And of course Adele.

It certainly lived up to its expectations in my eyes.

I can’t help you.  That was all just weird for the sake of being weird.  I have a feeling that Nicki is going to getting some shit from the religious folks LOL. Peeps aren’t going to be happy with the fake Pope and other weirdness.

  • Christopher Auyeung

Bruno has some questionable songs (and I say this as a huge fan), but it is undeniable how much SWAG that man has. Seriously. What an entertainer.

Best performances of the night: Adele + Jennifer Hudson

I actually loved Nicki Minaj’s performance, but then again, I love Lady Gaga :p

If I was a religious guy I wouldn’t mind with Nicki’s performance, because this is too weird even to please the devil. But the fact that there are people out there who like it scares me a little bit. For real.

Nobody can acuse Jennifer of making it all about her.  She did a subdued, respectful performance….about a quarter of what she is capable of doing with her magnificent voice and temperament.

  • http://twitter.com/jonnyboy82 Jon Glass

Katy Perry stole the show! OMG! AMAZING!

  • Anonymous

Oh, so many great performances!  I gotta go with Jennifer, Taylor, Bruno, and the Boss.  My favorites out of a show loaded with good.

  • Anonymous

I can appreciate different forms of “art” – different strokes for different folks – but even considering that, I have no idea how anyone could have enjoyed her performance.  What was there to even remotely like about it?

  • Anonymous

Bruno was great  …to me  :) , Adele still having an amazing voice, well deserved Grammy’s , All the old Glories performances were soo cool , sweet and nostalgic, Sir Paul still doing great too, i actually liked Taylor S too, in tone and with an interesting performance, Katy P , a lot better in her live vocals lol …..
Nicki M …:| i don’t even know what to said , she is playing to create the controversy ? , because that was horrendous , wonder what the parents of Sofia Grace( From Ellen D show)  are thinking right now lol, crazy :/ .

What in the heck was up with Nicki Minaj tonight! This song was actually painful to listen to, but I bet it will be on the radio in a heartbeat and soar to the top ten!!

Listening to Adele sing tonight was so refreshing. Maybe some of these pop divas need to take a lesson from her!! It’s not all about in your face music!

  • http://twitter.com/crackletlightin B

LL did a wonderful job hosting I thought – so well spoken. Loved just about everyone – Adele, Bruno (fantastic performance and such cool style), Bruce and Stevie (missed Clarence – sad), Foo Fighters (his acceptance speech made it clear how he feels about autotuning),Jennifer – so heartfelt, Kelly and Jason (though he had mic issues at the end), Adam with the Beach Boys, Rihanna and Cold Play, and of course Sir John – voice is still smooth – love him.

  • Anonymous

Have only watched the vids here – Jennifer’s performance is just in a class by itself – no words needed.  Minaj at the opposite pole – utter crap.
Who would I spend money to see – Bruno for the win – the complete entertainer.

  • http://www.facebook.com/david.i.lin David I-Chen Lin

    Adele didn’t perform??

  • Anonymous

Is there a vid of KP – didn’t see Grammys tonight.  What did she sing?  thanks.

  • http://twitter.com/swansteel swansteel

One of my favorite performances of the night was Gentle On My Mind by the Band Perry, of whom I’m not even familiar.  I’m going to have to check that group out for sure.  Easily the worst of the night was that waking nightmare from Nicki Minaj.  So bad was that over-blown, X Factor routine on steroids that I stared blankly at the screen while it was on, in the same way I would watch a bloated rat skitter across the street into oncoming traffic.

  • Incipit

Thanks for the videos, mj, that is the first time in a long, long time that the Grammy’s entertainment was of any interest to me.

I cherry picked at first, starting with The Boss (Of course) and checking out Jennifer’s Tribute – which was excellent, and the Etta James tribute, because “Sunday Kind of Love” isn’t just a 1946 Jazz standard – it got the Doo-Wop treatment in the mid 50′s – and nicely, too – music and artists that I liked – and then I went back and checked out a few others – even Taylor Swift – because the video you have up intrigued me – ‘why are they wearing Depression Era costumes?’ and it wasn’t bad – it was kinda fun – so I watched the Bruno Mars one – and the lettering on his sign was giving me a whiff of Deja Vu – 50′s and 60′s font for horror movies like Tim Burton spoofed in Mars Attacks – and the performance had a retro vibe as well – and then the Beach Boys? – and then it suddenly dawned on me – Duh.

They said they were celebrating music – and this was a menu spanning quite a few decades. There was a vibe -  sometimes overtly, and sometimes obliquely – for the first time, it felt like there was something for everyone. (and I skipped one or two or three – but I enjoyed most all of it.)

It felt as if the influences on American music were all there – being celebrated – and forgive a touch of satisfaction when those SIX WGWG’s lined up on the stage of the Grammy’s and started trading riffs – because when Rock is marginalized – they lose me altogether – and this wasn’t just a performance by the Token Rock Band – this was joyous, those dudes reveling in the music, with Paul McCartney orchestrating the performance, and the audience eating it up…and I Floved it!

  • Chris

I thought that even when I saw little Sofia Grace singing on Ellen.  Do parents even listen to lyrics or watch the videos?  I know many rap songs go fast, so its not easy to pick up, but Nicki is no children’s entertainer.  Good beats and she dresses in a fun way, so I can see the temptation, but they may want to stick with Yo Gabba Gabba.

  • RockiDreams

Only watched the first segment up to Kelly Clarkson. Man the band seemed super loud with those two.   Bruno Mars was unbelievable and from watching some of these clips, was the best performance of the night.  What the hell was up with Adele’s hair – makes her look like some frumpy 50′s housewife and far older than what she is.  Ugh. Listened to the first minute of Hudson and couldn’t stand it but then I am not a fan at all.  Think I will watch Bruno again.

Best moments for me…Jennifer (pure class), Taylor (loved the set, costuming, and she sounded great), Adele (what a voice), Chris (and I don’t even like him but the man can dance).  Worst…Alicia was the wrong person for this tribute (Bonnie was fine).  Didn’t see Nikki or the finale so will reserve judgement on these until I watch the clips.  Overall, a fine show!

  • glennethph

Bruno MArs and Runaway Baby is the performance of the night for me.

  • musicality

Worst performance by far Chris Brown. This is the Grammy’s not Dance Moms. This is supposed to be about the voice and he didn’t sing a note. Lip synched his way through it.

Ha Ha…Loved Nicki! She’s so creative and fresh. Only true female rapper out there today.

Jennifer Hudson hung in there. Her voice isn’t close to as good as Whitney’s but she survived it though. It must have been tough.

Bruno was excellent as usually and so wasn’t Adele.

I hate that song Kelly sang. So hate country music so no comment since I switched the channel. I did the same thing when Bonnie what’s her name came on.

  • fuzzywuzzy

Thanks for all of these videos, MJ.  :)  I thought that this was the most enjoyable Grammy show ever.  I loved the variety of the music and the performers whose careers spanned decades.  I was particularly impressed by Bruno (great entertainer and singer!), Bonnie Rait, Jennifer and, of course, Adele.

For those interested, there was a great piece on 60 minutes last night with Anderson Cooper interviewing Adele here:

Also, extra very funny moments from the interview here:

I loved Bruno, Bonnie Raitt was absolutely incredible in the minute they gave her.
Jennifer did a great job. Other fav moments: Foster the People, Civil Wars, the Band Perry. Overall a very good show.

Thanks for posting these performances, MJ.  I enjoyed watching “with” everyone here last night but I had to bail at Nikki Minaj, so I missed the awesome finale. So glad you posted it!

  • Anonymous

I must be getting old:  I actually liked that Adele was totally covered up.  It certainly works for her and encourages us all to focus on voice.  What a concept.  She even influenced Rihanna, who put on the cleanest performance (for her) I have ever seen.  :-)

  • fuzzywuzzy

You might be interested in watching the “extra” video of Anderson Cooper’s interview with Adele (posted above), where she addresses her image that doesn’t “fit” with current pop stars.

  • fuzzywuzzy

lol You aren’t alone.  Gail King is interviewing the producer of the Grammys about Nicki Minaj’s performance on CBS now.  She said that backstage everyone was reacting to Nicki’s performance with WTF?  lol  The producer pretty much just said that he wanted to allow for “artistic freedom”, and when he watched her rehearsals, he just kinda went “OK”.  It sounded like he didn’t understand it either.  lol

  • Anonymous

That was a terrific show; there was something for everyone.  I liked that there were (so much missed) rock performances and it was great to again see Bonnie Raitt.  Best, the show showcased stellar vocals; it humanized the proceedings.

  • Anonymous

I watched it.  She is retro in her own way and a terriffic personality.  I do have trouble understanding her, though.

  • Tess

White Guy With Guitar. Refers to the abundance of male rock/pop musicians today who seem more suited to coffee houses than the big stage….urban dictionary

No way were any of the guys playing with McCartney even remotely suggestive of the milk-toast WGWGs that inhabit Idol land.  These were guys with real talent on the guitar who could and do shred up a storm and have been doing so in an insane matter for as long as I have been into music (my first 45rpm was I Wanna Hold Your Hand in 1964).  True talent and musical creativity doesn’t die, and as much as the now generation may like their current Icons, I don’t think any of them (as much as I may like some) can even hold a candle in comparison to the guys that formed my musical tastes.  Viva la AARP!!

  • Anonymous

Bruno mars is just adorable. I just feel like locking him up in my pocket and taking him out to play with him whenever i want. I know that sounds bad. Thank God for talented people like him, Adele and Jennifer. Whitney would have been proud.

  • Tess

Bruno Mars is fresh and exciting with all his Elvis swagger, and his ability to pay homage to (apparently) his hereos without ending up as a caricature of them, is absolutely mind-blowing.  His act reminded me of all the great motown groups, Little Richard, James Brown, Elvis’ Jail House Rock but at no point was it a poor imitation but full blown musical genius.  Congrats to the guy and I hope he stays around for a long, long time because, for me, he is one of the current guys that is adding to the history of music.

  • Anonymous

I agree with you Tess.  Bruno is a huge talent, and I look forward to what else he brings to the music scene in the future.

And I’m still in a good mood after that show last night.  Quite a few fun performances, and the show had great energy.  Yay for seeing some real singing!  And, Yay for all of the old dudes!

I’m still pretending Chris Brown wasn’t there. I just can’t with that guy.  If he were some phenomenal talent, I could almost understand the music industry showing him forgiveness.  But, he’s just not that special.  He lip synchs every, all the time.  And while many seem to think his dancing is what sets him apart, well, to me, he’s no Michael Jackson or anything.  Heck, he’s not even Usher.

So, with him blocked out of my mind, that Nicki Minaj mess was the true low point.  Affected, derivative and worse – totally boring.  I assume she was trying to cause controversy, but someone should let her know that Madonna did that whole “pissing off the Catholics” thing years ago.  Nicki needs a new gimmick.

Overall, I really enjoyed the show, and I thought LL did a fabulous hosting job.  My only sticking point is that while the Pop, Rock & Country genres all had great moments, all Hip Hop got was Nicki.  Yuk.  (What we needed was for Kanye to invade Nicki’s performance and put a stop to that crap.  Where is Kanye when you need him?  LOL).

  • Anonymous

Thanks for all of the videos MJ! Definitely one of the best Grammys that I’ve seen in a while, at least in terms of performances. My favorites were Jennifer Hudson (so classy…I almost teared up), Adele, Bruno Mars, The Beach Boys/Maroon 5/FTP and the Paul McCartney Medley. I’m beginning to think that Bruno Mars could sing the phonebook (TM Randy) and still be entertaining.

There were very few performances that I didn’t like. I even enjoyed Taylor Swift, who clearly had dedicated another song to Kanye. The costumes were fun, the backup musicians were a nice touch, and who would have guessed that Taylor had swagger?! Seriously though, someone needs to tell her to stop that I can’t-believe-they’re-clapping-for-little-ole’-me nonsense the she does at these awards show.

I’m not a fan of the FooFighters song but they really brought it in that performance. Chris Brown was good as usual, but he should have performed a different song. Unlike most, I enjoyed Niki Minaj’s performance, although it was approaching Lady Gaga levels of bizarre! I’m still baffled by David Guetta’s success.

  • Anonymous

Paul is an unbelievable performer.  There are no words really to adequately express what listening to him does for my heart.  He has traveled so far in this lifetime, done so many things, lived through so much and so has the world.  Watching him still makes me emotional.  This is what legends are made of.

  • Reflections On Life

Thanks for posting all the performance clips. A very satisfying evening of music, save for being a bit light on r&b, hip hop, and alt rock.

One thing I miss about older grammy shows is that it intro’d us to artists from more marginalized genres, like jazz, folk, big band, etc. I’m missing that about the grammys lately.

Would be great if you could include the 1 minute of Civil Wars singing Barton Hollow. Love that a swampy Americana piece like that was a big hit, even an international hit. How that California girl learned to sing in that tradition I haven’t a clue LOL.

Loved some of the variations on lyrics, whether planned or ad-libbed -
“whitney we’ll always love you” – jhud
“getting drunk and saying that I can’t sing” – tswift
“someday I’ll be singing this at the Grammy’s” – tswift
“you could have had this all” - adele

The older guys were in fine voice. Glenn, Paul, Beach Boys. Only Tony was losing it a bit. Was surprised to hear how authentic Foster the People sounded singing the Beach Boys.

Overall I’m glad I watched this live on TV last night (I usually just catch clips here or online generally).

  • http://twitter.com/CanadianLady2 CanadianLady

Didn’t plan to watch the Grammy Awards but somehow ended up doing it
    anyway.

I thought Taylor Swift had the best performance of the night, and
I’m not really a Taylor fan.

    Was underwhelmed by Adele –
nothing vs her but I don’t quite see the immense attraction – very nice
voice but I couldn’t make out her words.

Thought Glen Campbell did extremely well but Blake Shelton managed to make his song boring. Liked the Foo Fighters, The Civil Wars, the Band Perry, sort of
liked Bruno Mars. Thought Jennifer Hudson did a superb job.

Prob. the first Grammy Awards I’ve actually watched for years. I did turn
it off during Nicki Minaj’s whatever that was.

Liked the Beach Boys tribute, Sir Paul, etc. And the blending of
different musical eras and styles. Well done. So hard to cover all the forms of music and so forth in such a short time slot.

Was surprised that George Jones got the same award as Glen Campbell with no recognition. I’d think he has a much larger name in country music than Glen. “He Stopped Loving her Today” is frequently mentioned as the greatest country song.

  • V Jemmy

I think this is the first time that I’ve ever gotten my husband to sit down and watch an awards show with me.  Best Grammys in a long long time.  Performances were, for the most part, top notch.  A little somethin for everyone and I think it really did live up to the celebration of music that they kept mentioning.  I really liked that performers spanned multiple generations.

A few out of order comments.

Bruno Mars was great.  I’m usually not a fan, but I really warmed up to him tonight.  Wouldn’t mind seeing him live.

Adam Levine looked so uncomfortable during the Good Vibrations medley.  Like he was too cool for school.  He warmed up at the very end, but it was a little depressing to see everyone having fun and Levine being all like, dude why am I here?

Loved the live mash up.  deadmau5 and David Guetta are awesome.  (And Foo Fighters too)!

Thought the guitar ‘battle’ at the end was fabulous.  Loved that Dave Grohl headbanged the whole way through his parts.  He really did some work last night.  Loved his comments concerning real music vs. computerized (autotuned) drivel.  (And I like some of that drivel).

I thought JHud did absolutely fantastic.  Just the right amount of everything.  So sad.

I could have lived without Nikki Minaj as it just seemed like she was aping off of Madonna and Gaga.  Kind of sad as I’ve liked previous live performances of hers.

  • LaurelG

I was blown away by Bruno Mars. His confidence, showmanship and joy in performing was unmatched. He looked and sounded phenomenal – like the superstar he will eventually be.

I love Rihanna’s songs on the radio but she is no live performer voicewise, that’s for sure. As for Sir Paul and the Beach Boys, not really my favorite part of the show. Brian Wilson looked half dead, propped up in front of the piano. I get that they want to honor these guys but honestly they end up sounding like weak imitations of themselves. I much prefer how they handled Glenn C. – Blake and The Band Perry sounded great singing those old hits.

Loved Bonnie and Adele. Bruce was good. Chris can dance. And props to JHud for holding it together.

  • Anonymous

    My random thoughts:

Adele brought it big time: Awesome song, killer voice, no Autotune, fully clothed. What’s not to love?

I’ve never felt one way or the other about Bruno Mars, but I really enjoyed his performance. Great style & swagger, with a throwback style. It’s time for me to pay more attention to him.

I like Katy Perry, but WTF?????

Alicia Keys & Bonnie Raitt were AMAZING in their tribute to Etta James. Jennifer Hudson looked & sounded absolutely gorgeous during her song for Whitney.

Congrats to Bon Iver. I’m just getting to know his music. Interesting stuff.

I definitely need to check out the Civil Wars.

    I salute Glen Campbell’s courage.

LL Cool J did a great job as host.

In summary, I haven’t enjoyed a Grammy show this much in a very long time.

Nicki Minaj just redefined the word “Weird”. I thought Gaga could be bizarre at times, but that was beyond anything I’ve seen. Not in a positive way, unfortunately.

Saw this on Twitter: Only way I could love Adele more is if she stuffed her Grammys in a pillow case & beat the shit out of Chris Brown. lol

Loved Bruno! Kelly looked great! Adele is everything! Nicki is not.

Jennifer was the perfect choice for a very moving tribute to Whitney Houston. She didn’t “make it about herself” or try to “outsing Whitney”. Jennifer sang Whitney’s song to her and for her family and those who loved her.

  • http://twitter.com/RonnieDRocks Ronnie D

I still tear up when Adele gets the standing ovation lol. Thank you for the vids!

  • Mieps

Award shows are not my cuppa, so I can’t compare to anything in the past. This was the first time I watched one and I was not impressed. I liked Bruno and The Band Perry (love the girl, she’s a young Meg Ryan). Jennifer did good. I tuned out after Jennifer, but it looks like I didn’t miss much. Oh, and Adele. I do like her, but to me she sang very loud all the way through, so I found myself hoping it was over long before it was.

  • http://twitter.com/JudiNadreau Judi Nadreau

Thank you for the videos and fine recap, MJ. You do so much for us! If I need to know anything about my favorite music shows I just come here and find the latest and best information!

I loved Jenifer’s tribute to Whitney which I had to watch several times before I could see it without sobbing. She did a remarkable heartfelt rendition that touched many hearts last night and will continue to do so in time to come.

I agree with you that this was one of the best Grammy Award ceremonies in a long time! I’m 69 and felt choked up when I saw the Beach Boys, Paul McCartney, Glenn Cambell, and those of my generation that I sang and danced to. LoL at some in the audience who didn’t recognize some of the old music.

Again, TY MJ! You are such a gem!

After the Grammy, “who is paul mccartney” is right now trending on Twitter.

    http://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/who-is-paul-mccartney

That’s why I’m severely consertive and medieval when it’s become about the cultural education of our kids. Next generation is lost. It’s a fact.

  • GS61

Don’t give up hope. My kids all know who Paul McCartney and the Beatles are.
    All is not lost!

(My daughter, however, said to me last night when Springsteen was performing “He’s from Jersey right?”… I almost had a stroke! That’s sacrilege around here lol.)

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_SYFK77IYLRQIVATQ2MJKSW2J7Y Pam

Don’t give up hope. My kids all know who Paul McCartney and the Beatles are.
    All is not lost!

That’s good to know.  When I was a teen in the 90′s I floved Paul and in fact I still do.  I became a fan of the Beach Boys because of Kokomo of all things and I suppose I’ve been one ever since.  Until you way back into artist’s catalog do you really understand who were/are are as musicians.  imo

I enjoyed the BB reunion somewhat but of course there was someone very important missing on that stage last night-Carl Wilson.  It doesn’t matter how many years he’s been gone, he’s still missed by many.  I give kudos to Brian to getting up on stage again and performing with the band despite his distaste at times for his cousin Mike Love (which is warranted ;).

Nikki Minaj, I’m still scratching my head at that one.  What was that all about?!

The Glen Campbell tribute was very touching by all involved.  It was nice to see the smile on his face.  That made it worth it.

The best of all was probably JHud’s tribute to Whitney.  I admire her determination to make it through the song last night.  I can’t imagine how difficult it must have been.

    WTG big time to Adele!

Oh yeah, Sir Paul, the boss, and Joe Walsh, etc. with the jam at the end, what a way to end an awesome show!

Thanks for all of the vids mj!  :)

I loved the celebration of music and don’t quite get how people can only praise the genre they love and criticize the rest. I am not a country music fan or much a fan of a lot of hard rap and Hip hop but I can certainly appreciate the talent that was on the stage. The genres I don’t listen to I don’t know enough about to criticize, but I will say that lip synching in front of an audience of fellow artists, much less an audience of fans shows a lot about a persons talent – or lack thereof.  It also shows a certain degree of cowardice or at least , self-doubt. And shock for shock value alone was old even before Madonna started trying it.  When NO one seems to get what you are trying to do then you might want to rethink your approach.

Overall seeing the different artists perform makes me long for the days of my childhood when one could actually turn on the radio and hear a diverse mixture of genres on one station. As I grew old enough to become a DJ and radio stations began to specialize in playing different versions of the same tune over and over again, I loss my desire to listen to the medium. Whenever I am in the car I tend to channel surf often, so I get to still hear an experience a wider variety of music.

Ahhh, I see I ought to have put /facetious after the bolded part of my remark – which was meant to point out the inequitable use of that label – when those six guys with guitars on the Grammy stage prove how little it really applies. (much more of a “Na-na na-na na” than Schadenfreude – but there was a touch.)

” That’s not a phrase I use, and I often think it’s unfair for a lot of the AI WGWG’s to be lumped together.”

SpenserJ2, I’ll go further than “unfair”. I “hate. loathe. despise. and detest” the use of that phrase as a put down – a pejorative, a derogatory label for anyone. Because it is used to pronounce that ‘Rock is Dead’ – to minimize anyone at all, regardless of their actual talent or music, it certainly can come back to bite the language in the butt.

I would like to see it retired – it’s not used as a descriptive – it’s meant as an insult about music someone doesn’t like. And the problem with that is – it can be pointed at anyone who picks up a guitar…and plays music. But people don’t actually have to say what they like and don’t like, to critique the music, when there is a handy all purpose label to smear everyone .

“These were guys with real talent on the guitar who could and do shred up
a storm and have been doing so in an insane manner for as long as I
have been into music (my first 45rpm was I Wanna Hold Your Hand in
    1964). “

Tess, it would seem we are contemporaneous, my first 45RPM record purchase was also “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” in 1964; but all those guys had to start somewhere. The guitar work on that record is not technically challenging. The group of people you dismiss en masse as “milktoasts” has some pretty fine guitar players among them – time and fortune will sort them out. IMO.

Meanwhile, the fact that the Grammys featured those six guys on stage, playing their asses off – that gives a little hope that the new kids will get their chance. Along with many other genres of music, Rock was NOT dead at the 54th Grammy Awards – it was alive and well at the Staples Center.

She wrote this song in response to critics of her 2010 Grammy performance. I think that makes the lyrics “I’m singing this at the Grammy’s” more meaningful.

Obviously, Taylor took her criticism to heart and invested her time in making sure the “next” time she wouldn’t face those negative comments again.  She, as opposed to her nut wad manager, actually listened and learned and has obviously spent time perfecting her craft rather than resting on her laurels.  That takes a heck of a lot more courage than just throwing out the finger and telling her detractors to go eff themselves.  I have a lot more respect for her now then I did when all the excuses were floating around.

I think that you’re right about that, and that’s why Taylor sounded pretty good yesterday.  I don’t think that she’ll ever be an outstanding vocalist, but she wasn’t pitchy and sang well (for her).

That’s why they invented ipods-lol. When my kids are in the car-there’s no radio-just a mix of songs from their i-pods.I agree -the Grammys was a great showcase of a mix of talent which to me was why it was so enjoyable.

That was what I was so excited about – it gives me hope that Rock will make a comeback.

Jennifer Hudson = Weight Watchers = Fast Forward on DVR.

Loved Bruno, Adele, Bonnie and Alicia. Jennifer Hudson was very appropriate and sang her heart out in a very difficult moment. Kudos!

    From Billboard:

Some of the responses from Chris’ fans are pretty disturbing.

All I can say is –
Trash, and the deluded, delusional that follow it.
    Really pathetic.
