Uh oh Klaine fans. Guess who just became a Glee series regular? EOnline is reporting that Grant Gustin, who plays the Evil Gay Warbler Sebastian has been promoted to series regular!

We’re hearing Gustin will recur throughout the rest of this season and has a real breakout episode with the upcoming Michael Jackson tribute.

Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine’s (Darren Criss) may be less than thrilled by the news, but a little bird tells us Sebastian’s crush on Blaine lessens in upcoming episodes.

It remains to be seen if Sebastian will be transferring to McKinley High next season

I have to admit. I did NOT see that one coming.  Sebastian is pretty much a one-note character at this point. And if his whole reason to exist is to break up couples…hm.  We’ll see.

UPDATE:  About Sebastian’s storyline, Grant Gustin tells TV Line: “It’s actually going less in a flirtatious direction [between Blaine and Sebastian], and more of [Sebastian] just being a d***,” says Gustin. “I’m not necessarily trying to split up [Kurt and Blaine].”

To soften the blow Klainers:  Chris Colfer told Jarett Wieselman of ETOnline at the FOX TCA party, “Yes. I’m coming back. I’m very excited. A lot of people are sad there won’t be a spinoff but I think they’re going to be very very excited to find out what’s in store – I’m very excited by it. Ryan’s idea is kind of revolutionary.  It’s the best of both worlds. Everyone is going to like it.’”  THANK JEEBUS Chris is coming back. He’s the best thing in Glee, if you ask me.

UPDATECory Monteith has also confirmed his return to Glee.  “Yes, I’ll be back,” Cory told The Hollywood Reporter, “I’m very excited.”

Naya Rivera, who  plays Santana tweeted earlier, “Super excited about working on glee for another year! Season 4 is going to be great! Ryan just filled me in on the new ideas. ”

FOX brass confirmed the return of Lea Michele at this afternoon’s FOX Executive session, but Lea confirmed it herself, “It’s official Rachel Berry will be back next year for season 4! I’m so happy you have no idea!! Ryan Murphy has some brilliant and ground breaking ideas for including us graduates in the show for next season! It’s going to be great!

Lea talks about returning to Glee with EOnline.

I wonder what Ryan’s “revolutionary” ideas are? I’m not going to get excited until I know details.  I can’t imagine a world where Kurt and Rachel DON’T hightail it out of Lima after they  graduate. Ya know?

Yay! So glad Chris is confirmed. Looks like I’ll be continuing to chase Glee after all. Hmmm. Sebastian is cool but in a world where most tv relationships are fleeting, do hope that Kurt and Blaine can break that trend and stay true.

I’m happy Naya is returning because she’s my fave.

I don’t really care about the Warblers so news of Grant becoming a regular kinda sucks.

I’m really curious to see what Murphy has planned. Will there be dual story lines, one in Lima and one in NYC? And during the episodes, both will face similar issues/themes/whatever?

The Evil Gay Warbler has got to be the greatest comic book villain moniker I have seen in a long time. I am not sure what his super power would be thought . . . maybe a killer falsetto?

“Glee” is getting crowded. New people are coming and no one is leaving. Sam has returned, Rory is hanging around, there was talk of Jesse reappearing, and we haven’t seen Samuel or Alex from the Project yet. It will be a challenge to make coherent storylines for so many people. I was actually looking forward to a show with Rachel & Kurt at NYADA. Perhaps RM was concerned about competiting with “Smash,” which looks like it’s getting a big push.

I enjoy “Glee,” but I think if they want the show to run long term, they should consider following the “Degrassi” model: graduate the seniors each year and intro new freshmen.

It would be fantastic if the Grant Gustin became a series regular. GLEE needs a new villain to love to hate (as well as love to love!) since Sue has become nothing more than throwaway character (though Jane Lynch is still brilliant). Throw some interesting wrenches in the whole Curt/Blaine debacle – a pairing that promised so much but delivered so little (they are the most pallid couple on TV – and the most mismatched). Welcome aboard (fingers crossed) Sebastian!

I kinda doubt Sebastian will still be in the Warblers in Season 4 if he’s a regular. Mainly because they can’t have the Warblers in every episode, especially if they’ve got the graduated kids’ storyline too. And even if they did, how would he get enough screen time to be considered a regular. I can see him transferring to ND. That news thing said his crush on Blaine will lessen, so he’ll probably get a new storyline next season.

But anyway, the best part of Glee Season 4 is Lea Michele is coming back!! I was dreading the loss of Rachel Berry, because I thought the show would never be the same without her, but now I don’t have to worry! I’m also very, very happy Chris and Cory are coming back, but for me Rachel Berry IS Glee, and Lea Michele is just absolutely flawless.

Does this mean Gustin will be learning how to act?

Grant tweeted today thanks for the congrats he’s getting, but that this is not official yet. And EOnline, TV Line and EW love to say, “We have learned exclusively….” MJ posted a spoiler that Blaine gets injured at the hands of Sebastian. That might explain his absence in the Ricky Martin episode. He’s at home recovering. And if Sebastian’s crush on Blaine lessens, it could be because Blaine finally stops being so nice and tells him to get lost. But if Blaine’s injury happens at Dalton and Sebastian really is at fault, he could get expelled. And have to go to McKinley instead.

I’m holding out on whether I’m excited about this or not. As the author wrote, I can’t imagine Kurt and Rachel hanging out in Lima. Also, I can’t help but question whether this is what it seems; they could easily be coming back as recurring characters as opposed to regulars.

I’m glad Sebastian is staying on as a regular for the season. He’s one of my favourite characters. And Sebastian at McKinley would be hilarious.
And i thought i was going to scream if Naya didn’t come back next season, so happy she is. :)

I just really want Heather to stay on! Heather and Naya both staying on will be my dream come true…but Brittany is my fave and the reason I started and stayed watching Glee
