The Glee kids do Michael! Darren Criss sings lead on “Wanna Be Starting Something”. There’s singin, dancin’ and CROTCH GRABIN!

The Glee Michael Jackson tribute airs Tuesday January 31, and I gotta say, I’m not a huge fan of tribute episodes, but I’m oddly excited about this one.

ETA:  “Wanna Be Starting Something” reminds me why I love this show so much. When Glee is on, it’s ON.  The staging, camera work, choreography and song arrangement are all fantastic. And Darren Criss performance is mesmerizing.

    Wow, I really enjoyed that performance, and that song is far from my favorite MJ number. Darren just exudes charisma, I always enjoy watching him do his thing.

    Actually getting excited about this episode. It’s been a while, Glee.

    Really DID NOT like this. It felt like something was missing and I think it’s vocals. Dareen Criss is cute, but thought it sounded weak. Why hasn’t Quinn had any numbers this year? Oh well, loved Chris Colfer’s intro. Hopefully the rest of the songs will be fun..

    I’m not a fan of Glee at all and haven’t watched anything since the 1st season.  For some reason I wanted to watch this clip and I loved it.  I’m feeling a little conflicted about this.  :)

    I am starting to accept that I am very loyal to the original Glee kids and I may not be able to go along for the ride with new characters so I do not want to see Grant in a big number with Naya and want Damian to go away and do we have to have Samuel at all?

    I wish they would concentrate on the better dancers like Heather for more than a millisecond. Also can hey do something with the lighting it’s been so dark this season.

    I’m so so excited. I love love the duelling cellos in Smooth Criminal. I think this is going to rank as one of my fav performances ever from Glee. I’m beginning to like Grant a lot. Among the newbies, he’s the most interesting and he makes a sexy bad guy. I might still get pissed at him if he ever breaks up Klaine though. lol! Darren is smoking hot, love his crotch grabs and his boyfriend in his leather suit just burned. This is everything I love about Glee. Hurry up Tuesday.

    I’m excited about Smooth Criminal- the arrangement sounds like it could be really cool. Wanna Be Startin’ Something sounded a little weak, but I’ll reserve judgment ’til I hear it over my TV, which by far has the better speakers.

    That Wanna Be Starting Something video just might be the first Glee video I liked.
    Reminded me ever so much that Michael just had something that no one else has… and that you can copy him and never be so good, but then you can try and do your own thing with his stuff and it becomes somehow relevant….
