Glee Video Preview: First Look at New Directions “Body Swap”

Get a first look at the Glee cast impersonating each other in next week’s “Props”, the first episode of a double header that ends with “Nationals” at 9 pm.

Here’s the wacky ass plot: Tina falls into a mall fountain, distracted by a phone call. After she emerges she enters an “alternate reality” where her fellow glee clubbers have switched bodies.  Didn’t that happen on Gilligan’s Island once? Maybe not. But I digress.  It seems ridiculous on the surface, but the kids seem to be having so much fun playing each other, it may turn out to be really funny.

UPDATE: Tina hits her head after falling into a fountain and comes out as…Rachel Berry! (See Video Below)

    I legitimately was cracking up laughing watching that! This is AMAZING. The cast must have enjoyed this so much. So much win.

    OMG… soooo funny !! Tina/Kurt drama or should I say “Finchel” drama ???
    I wish Puck and Kurt don’t  return to their real body again… I like how they are dressed in the alternate world.

    I am also a big fan of the H-H stepbrothers… so watching Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith sitting next to each other is so reminiscent of Season 1 interviews…

    Not surprised to see “Kurt” slouch because it reminds me of Chris Colfer alter ego ” Carson Phillips” in the trailer of his movie “Struck by lightning”.

    I think I will have this promo video on repeat… I think even if the storylines are bad… it will still be hilarious…
    My favorites:
    -Kurt becoming Finn (Oh well, I am a Kurt fan)
    -Puck becoming Blaine
    -Santana becoming Artie.

    OK I was wrong (which Axxxel will be pointing out soon). They found a way to swap Mercedes and Brittany. Looks like they were all laughing at each other and it’ll be really funny. You know who’s missing though? Bieste swapping with Emma.

    LOL… Honestly speaking I initially also did not notice the Brittany-Mercedes swap…. So funny to see Mercedes and Kevin smiling in a flirty way at each other a lot… It reminds me of this interview they did together with Chris Colfer at E4.

    Gay Chris Colfer playing a romantic straight lead role ? Yeah ! Really looking forward to the “Finchel” kisses and drama in this episode… And really looking forward to Tina’s solo.

    Do you remember from Preggers (Season 1 episode 4) when Burt asked Kurt after the Single Ladies dance which of the 2 girls was his girlfriend, he tapped Tina on the butt… to indicate that she was “his”. And now Tina is going to be the love interest of Kurt in the alternate universe. Talking about coincidences.

    I just wonder… what did Chris mean… when he said that Kurt is going to do something that fans might not like… Is it Kurt emotionally cheating on Blaine.. or Kurt kissing Tina ?

    I think he was referring to emotionally cheating on Blaine. If I remember correctly he mentioned he was on team Kurt. Kurt was sorry that he made Blaine so upset but to me till the end, he still held the view that he wasn’t ‘cheating’ on Blaine. 

    Side note: Kevin should have worn a Cherio skirt and comb back the fringe. Santana never wears pants.
