Those of you who watched Glee this week, or follow the spoilers know that the McKinley High musical this season is Grease. When the musical comedy returns from hiatus on November 8, the cast will be taking a retro visit back to the 50s. And to mark the occasion Glee will release a soundtrack of Grease tunes on November 6.

    We already know from the promo that Blaine sings Beauty School Dropout.

    Though honestly, I couldn’t be less excited about this. I’m still depressed from last night’s episode.

    Never been happier about a hiatus.

    @JoleneJ….. Same here…I think it will take a few more days before I will climb out this depressing well and find new happiness in the songs of “Glease”…

    I’m more than a little disappointed. Grease has been done so many times. I would have preferred something fresher.

    Like many of you I am still reeling from “The Break Up” episode!  I do firmly have HOPE that KLAINE will be back together, just a much needed realistic BUMP in the road of a beautiful relationship!!

    Getting back to “GREASE”, I hope Kurt is the one signing “Hopelessly Devoted To You” with Blaine’s face in the pool of water:))

    I’m not depressed. Just sore and upset. lol! 9 songs. Looks like this episode may have less story and more music. I love Glee’s musicals. Looking forward to this.

    Well, you just know they’re doing Grease to use as a backdrop for the burgeoning romance storyline between Marley and miniPuck (guess who will portray Sandy and Danny?).

    I like Grease but I agree that it’s been done too many times. They’ve even used Summer Nights for Samcedes last season.

    If the Glee braintrust wanted to do a musical that’s more appropriate for high school than the Rocky Horror Picture Show, they could have considered Hairspray, Xanadu or even, coming full circle from the pilot episode, Guys & Dolls.

    I am very pleased Glee is doing the music from Grease, one of my most favorite films!  Still getting adjusted to the new cast memebers, and feeling a bit sad over last week’s episode.
