Glee: The Guys Sing “It’s My Life”

OK…alrighty then…that sucked!

“It’s My Life” is Bon Jovi’s first single from the album Crush. It was released on May 23, 2000. It was written by Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and Max Martin.

This song was a massive hit in Europe.

I remember reading a while ago that the boys would sing It’s My Life and Confessions Part II and the girls Halo and Walking On Sunshine.

Finn is such a bad performer…

Well, this Bon Jovi song did come out in 2000.

Hah! I hate that song (“It’s My Life”, “Confessions” is good), but I like the mashup, I never would’ve pictured those two songs together.

I can’t wait to see what the girls chose.

Erm…no.

I’m wondering if Finn was supposed to be all spastic like that…he had the same look in his eyes that my dog gets when I bust out the treat bag lol. I read the same thing about the girls doing Halo and Walking On Sunshine…seeing as the same guy was right about the boys I’m guessing he is about the girls too. I liked the two songs mashed up and I can’t wait to see how it fits into the show

Loved it and love this show. Bet the girls are pretty darn happy to Rachel back now.

Loved that Kurt tried to look all smoldery with that scarf wrapped around his neck (BWAH!)

glee keeps getting better and better, like both songs,cool performance is it wednesday yet?

Not so keen on the Finn guy and disappointed Kurt wasn’t played up more. I really do think that the great Single Ladies episode made Kurt a breakout star of this show, so they should cash in on that.
And yes, more Puck.

I loved it, but I am so hooked on this show, they could sing “Tiny Bubbles” and I’d be grinning ear to ear. Can’t wait for Wednesday!

Granted, Finn is not much of a dancer — but his “style” is perfect for the football-quarterback-turned-gleeclubber. And his voice is pitch perfect.

I posted some sneak peaks for this week’s Glee on last night’s Headline thread (you can find them on youtube). I seem to recall there were five scenes (Will with the Glee club setting up the competition, Emma and Will eating, Sue explaining how to make kids competitive to “Ellen”/Will, Sue talking with Terri and Rachel and Quinn having a heart-to-heart.

I haven’t seen the clip that MJ posted, but in the sneak peeks, it looks like Finn is having some issues this episode (not sleeping or something). He seems really out of it. Or maybe that’s just Finn.

There are also some behind the scenes clips out there for Glee. There was one about the “Single Ladies” bit. Chris claims he can’t dance and he worked with three choreographiers for 5 weeks to get that down. He came up with the outfit for the first bit because they originally wanted him wearing the Beyonce leotard and highheels. Also, in the one for the last episode, he admits that he started tearing up the first time that Kristin sang “Maybe this Time” so the producers decided to have Kurt do that. It seems like they do value his input.

Puck is like McDonald’s french fries, delicious but so, so bad for you.

Kurt in his cowboy outfit, dancing during that Last Name number was my favorite tv moment of week.

I loved it , they sing and dance really well – this show just gets better and better and more fun!

I think so Spense, I believe that you are correct, I mean, come on – he was the football player who sang in the shower and now he supposed to be a hardcore rock and roll star, already? His energy is high and he is so much fun

I just watched those clips and it does seem like he’s dealing with a sleep thing…in which case makes this clip pretty hilarious!! I’m so strangely addicted to this show it’s starting to scare me….I even joined a Glee fansite…yikes!

I love this show…….and I loved their performance. Can hardly wait to see the girls’ performance.

YAY I’m so glad Artie is finally singing! Woohoo, he sounds great.

Love this mashup performance! I agree that Finn is probably supposed to be a bad dancer and unpolished singer. As the season goes on, he’ll get better at both singing and dancing. Same for Artie doing wheelchair maneuvers. It’s not a normal thing for most wheelchair bound individuals to be able to do slick musical number choreography. It’ll take him some time to adjust as well.

Ok, Finn just went from “awkward” to “totally unwatchable.”

well basically tho im not for certain that Fin is on it. Its basically been confirmed thru vid previews that the kids in this epi will all be a little bit drugged on uppers. Which is why I’m guessing his face is all smily LOLS
