The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon - Season 1 The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon - Season 1

Lea Michele is taking a little break from Glee right now, to promote her debut album, Louder, on the east coast. She visited a NJ mall a few days ago (she was mobbed, I heard) and has been making the rounds of the media outlets. On Tuesday, GLEE DAY! She dropped by the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to chat and perform a song from the album, which hit #1 on iTunes after it was released earlier this week! Jimmy interviews a vivacious Lea. No sad talk here, she stays focused on Glee and her album.

If she doesnt get a single to radio her album will debut high, but be off the charts in a few weeks. Why doesnt she perform this song on her show where her fans are watching? But still good for her getting promo hope for her success so talented.

BTW Go Felicia Barton! Robbed if you ask me! You Go Girl!

Ugh…attention seeker and also her song isn’t very good at all.

I don’t get this at all. Lea’s voice doesn’t sound pop to me. She sings and performs showtune-y. She’s got a great voice, but not for pop. I can’t imagine this on the radio. There is no way my teen will listen to this (I tried getting her to stream Lea’s single and my kid didn’t make it past 10 seconds). So … is Lea planning on performing this outside of tv shows? Is she making the rounds of radio stations? Is she performing in clubs? She comes across as someone whose ambition isn’t primarily music, but she’s trying to capitalize on her tv success by trying to sell some music. Sort of like the Disney High School Musical actresses.

I hate this “Cannonball” song, it’s so annoying.

What? She’s just promoting her album. Is every artist an attention seeker then?

  • Porfivor Nixon

    Because it’s not her show.

That’s what they did with Matthew Morrison
