Tonight’s Valentine-themed Glee is all about L-O-V-E. What I love is that we’ve got a brand new Glee in less than a week!
I liked tonight’s bittersweet ode to high school romance. Couples came together and couples came apart. Maybe Santana will finally find true love, and a little self-esteem with Sam. And maybe Sam will be a little less…boring (yeah, I’m hearing ya peeps).
I’ve never had mono, but from what I understand, it knocks you flat for weeks, right? Of course next week, Quinn and Finn will be back as if nothing happened. Gotta love Ryan Murphy and his illogical plots. Speaking of which…will those two get back together or not? I thought they might, but I’m thinking they’ll both remain single for awhile.
The Lauren/Puck storyline seems a little weird on the surface, but I like that Lauren is a non-desperate fat girl who is going to get the guy. You rarely see that on TV. Like ever. The scene where she bitch slaps Santana from one end of McKinley High School to the other was full of lulz.
Of course, the best parts of the episode were all about Klaine. Tonight’s scenes were key. Blaine admitting to Kurt that his outward braggadocio hides a lot of insecurity made him seem more like Kurt’s equal than some God-like superior. Now both their cards are out on the table and it’s just a matter of time. Hooray. Let the dance play out as long as it takes! “Silly Love Songs” was all kinds of awesome, and a great way to end the show. I liked the bringing together of McKinley High and Dalton Academy, didn’t you?
