There is so much information, photos and videos coming out of the Glee Season 4 shoot in New York City this weekend (8/11-8/12), that I’ve decided that it needs it’s own post! STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES.

Ryan Murphy tweets, “Shippers! Take a deep breath. Watch the season and the stories unfold. Have fun. All will be revealed.#howaboutwewatchtheepisodesfirst”

Chris Colfer tweets to an upset fan, “@msmacygleek I think everything is gonna be okay. Darren and I still have songs we want to sing together.”

Glee Shooting in NYC Weekend of 8/11 -  Chris Colfer was spotted at LAX on August 10, heading out of town.  Lea Michele tweeted “SO excited for this weekend! It’s been my dream to shoot #glee in NYC and now this season we’ll be shooting half of Rachel’s story here!” and on Aug 11 “Early morning shooting #glee in NYC!!! So exciting!!!” Dean Geyer who plays Rachel’s possible new love interest is there too. They will be filming a musical number on 8/11, “NYC is amazing!! And filming my first musical number for glee with@msleamichele.. Rock and roll baby. Or I guess more like POP and roll :)”

Glee is filming location shots for 4 episodes. Chris, Lea and Dean filmed on Sat. 8/11. Chris, Lea, Cory and Darren filmed on Sun.  8/12.  Eric Stoltz is in t own to direct (either Ep 3 or 4).

NEW: SUNDAY AUGUST 12 – Chris, Darren, Corey and Lea

Glee Locations for Sunday: City Hall, Broadway and Park, Chris shot scenes in the subway and at Times Square  by the GAP by 42nd st.  The crew, including Chris, Darren, Lea and Corey  headed to Battery Park for the last shoot of the night.

NEW: Kurt/Blaine and Rachel/Finn are singing “Don’t Speak” by No Doubt! (This is the Klaine/Finchel duet Lea tweeted about)

CREW CONFIRMED THE DUET/Scene, SHOT IN BATTERY PARK SUNDAY NIGHT, IS FOR EPISODE 4 “The Break Up” and YES KLAINE BREAK. Watch the videos below.

SATURDAY AUGUST 11

HUMMELBERRY REUNION:  Kurt  Surprises Rachel in NYC: A fan watching Lea and Chris filming together got the scoop on what went down! –  Kurt is on the phone with Rachel. She does not realize he’s in NYC. Here’s a snip of overheard dialogue: ”I can’t even get into my dorm room because my roommate is sleeping with the entire school.  I miss you I miss everything” Rachel is upset because New York isn’t everything it’s cracked up to be. AND THEN BAM! KURT IS THERE. HE SAYS TURN AROUND AND THEN SHE RUNS…”- Via @ernstrobel

    It’s been reported that the night dshoot in Battery Park is for Episode #4: The Break-up.

    Things don’t look good for either couple. This makes me said for Klaine!

    Whyyyy?!?! Why must Ryan Murphy break up possibly the cutest couple in television history? Might as well brace myself for that episode… I don’t know if my heart will be able to handle it. </3

    Just by reading this my heart broke. Can’t imagine what it’ll be like watching it. Need to brace myself as well. I hate so much to say it but it’s good drama. You can break it RM, but please fix it. lol!

    So funny how the videographer focused on Cory Monteith and Lea Michele and totally ignored Chris Colfer… the person must be standing near Colfer… goodness hehehe  Oh well, if I were the videographer, it would have been the other way around… sorry Cory…

    I’m excited for the Klaine break up. They were always such a perfect couple that  it made it boring. I’m hoping Kurt finds someone new soon though. Someone with an edge. >:)

    Wow, I just checked my twitter timeline, the amount of upset and angry tweets is not a joke.

    I’m fine with Klaine breaking up, as long as they are ultimately end game. What’s the point of having them together when they live in different cities? It’s realistic to have them come apart for awhile, even if they date other people.

    After spending months apart, angsting and pining for each other, I would hope the two of them would get back together after Blaine graduates, with the two of them together in New York–if there is a Season 5.

    As long as my Brittana doesn’t grow apart, I’m good. Santana has easily become my favorite character over the last two seasons. That and Naya’s voice is just perfect, ugh. Love her parts in songs so much.

    Not a big Brittana fan for various reasons (Brittany’s role is a caricature, while Santana has become fully fleshed out–a total mismatch) but I DO love Naya Rivera. She’s definitely my favorite girl.

    True, but that’s kind of the reason I’d hate for a break up. It’s literally the only couple they refuse to flesh out. I need them to dig deeper into their relationship so I can have resolution, lol.

    If they were really breaking up I would not have filmed it outside where there were witnesses to give it all away. I would film it on a closed set so nobody other than the crew saw it. Unless it is all part of Ryan Murphy’s master plan and he either wanted to leak it out to soften the blow; or it’s a distraction for the real surprise to come.

    i think they want to soften the blow. Then again, I think it is more about Blaine who cannot really live through a long distance relationship and instead of just being sick worried about Kurt, he prefers to break up. And if after a year, Blaine and Kurt are available, then they can get married.

    You know, just like the “When Harry met Sally” thing… I think during the episode “Silly love songs” Klaine made reference to it…I think Harry even got married and divorced before he eventually became Sally’s lover and married her and they live happily ever after… oh oh, does this mean that Kurt will get married with someone else first ? Hopefully not… must be funny though because Kurt was against Rachel’s marriage last Season…

    Ryan did a 15-minute Q & A on Twitter (Which he obviously is enjoying now that he has one) and somebody brought up if they might get marries. Ryan replied that it’s legal in New York. Huh? Finn and Rachel are too young but Kurt and Blaine aren’t? Unless they wait until the end of the series and flash forward 5 years or so.
