In next week’s Glee, the kids will flaunt their very best diva moves in an episode aptly titled “Diva.” Watch the kids of New Directions perform a cover of Beyonce’s  ”Diva” starring Darren Criss in his Adam Lambert inspired feather jacket!

Co-creator, Ryan Murphy, tweeted that he was releasing the video a week early in honor of Beyonce, who will be performing during the Superbowl half time on Sunday.

    Hi hi fellow  Adam Lambert fans, welcome and join the party in  the Glee sandbox…

    Also rooting for an Adam Lambert song on Glee… “Whataya want from me”… or ”Shady” (for the more adult New York part of Glee).. Pitty they did not take Adam’s song “Naked love”… it was suitable for the most recent Glee episode called “Naked”… oh well.

    Aw, thanks for the welcome. I’m a fan of both! I’ve watched every episode of every season and both seasons of The Glee Project. I have a ton of twitter and facebook friends who are also big Glee fans, so I discuss the show with them. I should probably join in the discussion here every once in a while. I’ll try to do that in the future.

    Wow, I saw so many comments and thought there was something new to see. Just the Lambert fans taking going nuts! I will wait til theres another thread for this episode….. But Blaine rocks the outfit and the poofy hair! Love it!

    Haha, I think the reference is pretty much in your face. Who else could
    it be? And Blaine practically quotes Adam’s “a man can be a Diva line”,
    but whatever, lol. Good to see he is on their radar as someone said. I
    have a feeling Adam might be on Glee sometime.

    He put the patent on that line, too?

     How many male singers out there do you hear calling themselves a diva?  I’ve only heard Adam say it.

    I’m sorry but it’s blatantly clear Blaine’s whole get up is an ode to Adam.

    Yeah the same year and also used the same quote, “Men can be Divas too.” If you don’t see they copied Adam Lambert you are in serious denial.

    Exactly. And Ryan knows Adam and follows his career. I take it as a compliment that he quoted him on the show and used his outfit.

    I said this in another thread, but Ryan Murphy is a pretty busy guy, currently running 3 shows at the moment.

    More than likely the show’s talented costume designers caught the Diva show and were inspired by Adam’s outfit.  Unless Ryan wrote the episode, then maybe–because of the “Dive” reference.

    The costuming on Glee, overall, is really creative, with lots of fun pop culture references all over the place.

    Yeah, also like Blaine’s hair. By the way… do you still remember the Glee cast fotoshoot for Vogue ? At that time, in an interview,Chris Colfer (Kurt) said that the photographer said to the Glee cast ” more tiger, less kitten”… Seems that there is more “tiger” in the Glee cast in this Diva video..
