I’ll be updating this post all day with Glee songs from the upcoming episode, “I Am Unicorn”, airing on Tuesday. First up is Darren Criss singing “Something’s Coming” from West Side Story, via Broadway World.

If you tuned into Tuesday’s premiere, you know that Rachel is attempting to mount a production of West Side Story, so there will be lots of Broadway tunes featured on the show, at least in the next couple of episodes. I totally approve!

So much Broadway goodness on Glee lately. I totally approve. Watch for Lea Michele and Idina Menzel singing “Somewhere” and Chris Colfer’s “The Greatest Star” from Funny Girl. Can’t wait.

Chris Colfer – I’M The Greatest Star

Lea Michele, Idina Menzel – Somewhere

My favorite showtune ever, and Darren does a great job with it. The accompaniment is a bit on the cheesy side, but whatever.

I love Darren’s version of Something’s Coming. I wasn’t sure if he’d be able to pull it off, and IMHO he totally did. Can’t wait to watch the performance when the episode airs.

Surprising that we only have 3 songs in this coming episode.

Oh my gosh I just got chills listening to Somewhere. That was absolutely superb. Idina Menzel and Lea Michele together are just….flawless.

ETA: I can’t stop listening to it. I just keep pressing repeat.

Can’t listen right now because my employer’s McAfee is blocking Darren, which is just not nice. But apparently he does quite well. Is this the one where Chris goes way up high and is upside down? I’m surprised they would let him do it considering he seems so injury-prone.

Idina sounds so so so good on Somewhere!

    NEWS:

The Muppets Spoof GLEE and the letter “G”. Funny, cute, and characters to match everyone from Mr. Shue, Rachel, Kurt, to Sue Slyvester! Having been exposed to SESAME STREET with my children and Grandchildren, I found this really cool! :o)

@Grammie Kari .. I love, adore the Sesame Street spoof of Glee. Does it mean that Sesame Street has their first “gay puppet” (=puppet Kurt) ? Ernie and Bert are just a-sexual friends…

@jeffreythegleek… Remember Darren Criss in the “In Style magazine ” interview ? I think he gave the impression that Chris Colfer can be stubborn (most non -conformist), “he knows what he wants and if there is something that he does not like, it wont happen…”

So I guess Chris may have been adviced not to do those stunts… and Chris might not like that advice. Oh well, at least it gave Chris nice hospital emergency room stories to tell to talk show host Jay Leno recently …
But this is just pure speculation.
