Glee Props/Nationals Video Preview – “Starships” (Featuring Unique!)

Watch Glee Project runner-up, Alex Newell, perform “Starships” by Nicki Minaj in drag as the lead singer of Vocal Adrenaline.  The New Directions will face off against their arch rivals at Nationals in the 2nd hour of Tuesday’s Glee double header on FOX.

In the 1st hour, “Props” the kids prepare for Nationals, while Tina has a “Freaky Friday” after a head injury.

Props Preview: Tina hits her head after a fall in a fountain and emerges as Rachel Berry. The rest of New Directions has also switched bodies in her eyes.

    Daaamn that VA performance was fantastic. Best VA performance since Bohemian Rhapsody, I’d say.

    Unique ?? Fierce !!… If New Directions want to top that., they have to charm in a different way…
    Fun part was when Uniue helped lifting up 2 girls…

    Yeah, also plenty of Kurt-Tina love scenes as Finn-Rachel… The Mercedes-Artie flirty scenes as Santana – Brittana are so funny…   Cannot imagine Brittany-Rory doing the Mercedes-Sam Evans love scenes though… or maybe I can…

    I loved Boogie Shoes, but I have to think they were mocking Glee Clubs everywhere with this Starships performance. Complete and utter camp — including flipping girls and professional dancers. I was laughing out loud through most of it. This performance also brought back everything I disliked about Alex during the reality show.
