Love the show, but this singing is reminding me of Ashley Simpson on SNL. . .

  • suebrody

    But if Adam was on…lol

Actually, I have the opposite reaction. Except for SUE, Will, and Quinn (and maybe now Puck), I only watch for the singing.

  • http://www.twitter.com/sarahruth3 Sarah

OMG – the Ken line about having athlete’s foot and having to have all his toenails removed? NASTY, but hilarious.

  • gangreen29

This episode feels flat so far, and the thong song? really?!? The thong song?! It didn’t even come across ironically funny.

  • terps

    Puck’s family is cool

  • http://www.twitter.com/sarahruth3 Sarah

OMG, the hotness. It’s almost too much. ;)

    More solos for Puck, please.

“I saw it as a sign form God, telling me to get into Rachel Berry’s pants.” LOL.

  • BeckyMD

    are you questioning my badassness?

  • alison8701

    Will is hot.

Sometimes when he dances… not so much.. but all in all, I can get on board with what’s happening over there.

  • soccerboi

The quotes from this show kill me. AND Sue hasn’t even been on yet

  • http://www.twitter.com/sarahruth3 Sarah

He likes to “swing?” Haha, why I do feel like that has a double meaning in this episode? Heh.

  • terps

God, Sue and will better not become friends

  • chicksineggz

OMG. Sue is turning soft. I don’t know if I like that or not.

    I love Puck!

  • terps

    Emma can sing

  • annoula

    Go Kurt!

“Someone get me to a day spa, stat!”

  • alison8701

    Further embarrassed.

  • terps

I sense Puck is going to tell Finn the baby is his soon

  • http://www.twitter.com/sarahruth3 Sarah

I may be the only one, but honestly? I like Rachel and Puck together better than Rachel and Finn.

  • chicksineggz

I may be the only one, but honestly? I like Rachel and Puck together better than Rachel and Finn.

SERIOUSLY. I want Rachel and Puck together.

  • terps

This was not a good episode, hardly any SUE.

  • rockvixen

Ewww to walk in on your parents having sex or I should say walruses going at it. lulz.

  • terps

Damn, no GLEE next week, Stupid Baseball

  • BeckyMD

Boring episode. Rachel and Puck are hot.

  • sunchick

I love Puck, but I think Finn has better chemistry with Rachel. I want to see more Puck and Quinn…. I don’t think Puck’s mom would approve.

    LMAO at Sue’s zoot suit.

  • rockvixen

Puck’s a better singer than Finn and hotter.

  • useless

rockvixen, I totally agree. More Puck, please!

  • hypnoticwhisper

I may be the only one, but honestly? I like Rachel and Puck together better than Rachel and Finn.

I AGREE!!! They compliment eachother well since they are polar opposites.

    I love me some Puck.

I thought it was adorable when Rachel was washing the slushie out of Puck’s hair

    =)

Also, watching the billion previews for this episode kind of ruined it for me. No more sneak peaks for me.

  • tierbee

OMG ‘“ the Ken line about having athlete’s foot and having to have all his toenails removed? NASTY, but hilarious.

Ha, my husband even sat and watched for a little bit after that line – it cracked us both up.

Also, watching the billion previews for this episode kind of ruined it for me. No more sneak peaks for me.

Yeah, I think that’s why some of it fell flat for me… I already saw it! No more sneaking peekings :)

  • hypnoticwhisper

Ah!!! I can’t wait till November. I’m going to have Glee withdrawls. I need my weekly dose of Gleeness.

random: I looooved Emma in the second wedding dress. It really suited her.

  • SpenserJ

Ha, my husband even sat and watched for a little bit after that line ‘“ it cracked us both up.

Mr. Spens watched it with me tonight for the first time. He was like “these people are all crazy”, and I said “I know, isn’t it fabulous?”.

I’ll join the “I Love Puck” club too. Never enough Puck, although tonight came close. It didn’t hurt that Mr. Spens is a closet Neil Diamond Tard. He was diggin’ Puck’s solo while trying to appear disinterested.

  • maturin

Love Puck and Rachel. The awkward hot was hot. They both come out more sympathetic.

Saaad for Emma, who looked gorgeous in her Audrey Hepburn drag.

Even a little sad for Sue, screwed over in her swing outfit. The game of battleship!!!

Er, I like Will’s (and Matthew Morrison’s) shameless, talented goofy dancing. It makes sense that Will would have silly taste in songs, and MM’s wonderful looseness is a joy to watch.

Ok, the slushee gag was weak, and they couldn’t quite match the emotional intensity of last week and Keep Holding On but another wonderfully enjoyable ep.

Kurt’s take one for the team; Puck’s Sweet Caroline and clan rewatch of Schindler’s list; Rachel’s little kiss of Puck’s head . . . dawww, I enjoyed it.

  • http://www.twitter.com/sarahruth3 Sarah

My policy on spoilers has become that I will watch the performances/songs, but not just the regular scenes. This week, I watched all 3 of the songs and the Rachel/Puck “my ears hurt, wanna make out” spoiler clips, but none of the others.

There were good points in the episode, but it’s not quite one of my favorites. I don’t know if I can wait til November for another episode. At least I have all the eps saved on my DVR still! ;)

  • sunny2

I loved this episode no horrible wife. Got to see Will do two hip hop songs. Sue and Will dancing. Amazing. Emma sining in her beautiful Audrey Hepburnish wedding dress and their dance was great.

Sue’s corner was hilarious and when she said to Will “I will go to the animal shelter and you a kitty cat. I will let you fall in love with that kittycat. Then one dark cold night I will steal away into your home and p;unch you in the face.” I’m still laughing.

  • ravengirl

Yes, yes, love more Puck, more Sue, more Emma, but for the love of God, I need more Kurt. His “taking one for the team,” “get me to a day spa, stat” and transparent raincoat once again were fabulous.

And did anyone catch who was the guy in white on the tie he wore in the Bust a Move scene? My daughter thought Adam, I thought not.

And, really, is there a school somewhere where nerdy kids are repeatedly doused with grape slushees?

  • alison8701

That was really funny. I know it doesn’t need to be stated cause its obv but i totally expected her to say something along the lines of taking back the cat… but… she completely… did not go that direction.

and no horrible wife. Always a plus.

  • hypnoticwhisper

LOL at the previews for the upcoming episodes. Kurt has a crush on Finn? Finn attracts both sides doesnt he? I kind of wish Kurt would fall for Puck, now that would be hilarious.

Add me to the More Puck Club =)

  • adamlover

i want more puck and rachel together!!!

they are hot and funny!!! and, of course, her singing blows everyone out of the water but i thought puck sounded good tonight.

  • http://www.equinoxrpg.com dreamr

I loved loved loved this episode!

Sarah, you’re sooo not alone because I found myself LOVING the whole Rachel/Puck bits. I was even telling a friend, “Man, I’ve been Rachel/Finn from the beginning, but I’m actually kinda liking this Rachel/Puck stuff more…” XD

    LOL @ Sue:

“You sunk my battleship, Rod, and you sunk it hard.”

LOVE her. She’s so funny. I was kind of hoping she’d beat the crap out of that man, though. It’s not like he didn’t deserve it.

  • Grammie Kari

I loved Matthew Morrison’s dancing. His Will character is just so lovable, too. Good episode tonight!

Everyone is impressed with Puck’s singing. May I join the club? Love me some Neil Diamond anyways, and he did a nice job. There is chemistry between him and Rachel.

Hmmm…the previews show that Puck does say that Funn is not the father of Quinn’s baby, but does he really reveal he is?

  • JJ123

I LOOOOOOOOVE Puck and Rachel…the whole opposites attract thing can totally work. I seriously wish Quinn was not pregnant with his baby dammit. Finn was pretty much a douche yesterday bailing and caring so much about popularity, I know he came to his senses by the end of course but Puck wasn’t a jerk to Rachel, he actually came across really sweet….until the end haha.

Emma was so freakin adorable singing and dancing!! I wish they’d get moving on this pregnancy crap already. Kurt was awesome, Sue was awesome…etc. It’s going to be hell the next few weeks!!

  • windmills

I think Puck/Mark Salling has chemistry with everybody and everything. The writers need to be careful with Finn’s character because he’s coming off as a bit blank. Likable and good hearted but there needs to be more there there. Cory Monteith is doing a good job in the role though – as an actor he’s not a blank slate.

It’s tough too because Mark Salling clearly has a better voice than Cory Monteith. I hope the writers don’t try to make us like Puck less to bolster Finn’s central role. I think Finn’s character needs to be given more dimension, the way they’ve started to show there’s more to Puck.

I liked last night’s episode because the face time was pretty equally divided up between a lot of the cast and there were some great lines as always. It’s too bad the swing dance competition storyline was dropped because I was kind of hoping that Sue and Mr. Schu would end up unlikely partners in it with Sue leading and that they would take the top prize.

Emma/Jayma Mays is adorable and she looked and sounded so great during her Audrey scene.

Episode 8 was amazing, I was able to stream it online for free I was so happy. For anyone else who missed it yesterday and wants to watch it here is the link http://g1freebie.com/glee8.html

As Kirsten predicted, Puck’s Sweet Caroline is climbing the iTunes charts. It’s up to number 16, from 61 on Tuesday night.

    Also, Neil Diamond tweeted this:

Hey, so who’s this guy Puck singing “Sweet Caroline” so good,so good,so good on #Glee? Loved it!!
about 9 hours ago from web

That’s gotta make Mark Salling happy!

  • Duke

The part where Noah’s family is watching Schindler’s List and the little sister screams had my lol’ing for like 5 minutes.

    and

    -”E9″
“You sunk my battleship, Rod. You sunk it haaard. Booooh!”

  • t2

Definitely want some level of sing-off between Puck and Finn. Also, can’t we have an on-again-off-again thing with Rachel and Puck? Pretty please.

“”"I may be the only one, but honestly? I like Rachel and Puck together better than Rachel and Finn.”"”

Me too Sara! I LOVE this show, fun fun fun fun – and my kids love watching it with me, that is the best part!

  • sma11ie

This episode was just aite. The previews had me a bit overhyped. I liked Puck with Rachel as well– maybe cuz I just like their characters more than I like Quinn or Finn. And it seems every guy on that show sings better than Finn. I love when Mr. Schuester dances! And aww at Emma.
