Recap and Videos after the JUMP…

I really missed my Klaine fix tonight. But we’ll get plenty of that next week. I posted the “Blame it On Alcohol” preview after the jump, and it reveals the girl that Blaine kisses during a game of Wine Coolers and Spin the Bottle is…Rachel. I kinda figured.

Tonight’s episode was not one of my favorites. I thought it was a meandering mess. The focus on Chord Overstreet’s character just proved how truly truly dull he is. The Sue Sylvester was like something out of the 3 Faces of Eve or Sybil. Is she naughty or nice? After being brought nearly to tears by a roomful of cancer kids its…back to destroying the Glee club for Sue. Eh.

Although the episode did start off promisingly enough early on with some pretty awesome one liners:

Sue: “Will, you have more grease in your hair than the guy behind wikileaks”
Sam: “My Dad Always said there are two ways to get a woman to love you–take her hunting, and rock and roll.”
Sam: “Who is more rock n roll than Justin Bieber? No one. That’s who.”
Brittany on why she was wearing Rachel’s legwarmers on her arms: “I wore a tank top today because I thought it was summer. Nobody ever taught me how to read a calendar”
Pamphlet about depression Emma handed to Sue: “I am too depressed to even open this pamphlet”

The episode went downhill after the first 15 minutes. “You guys do realize that Justin Bieber sucks, right?” Finn tells the guys who want to expand Sam’s one-man Justin Bieber tribute into a band. I just wish Ryan Murphy had come to that realization. The two songs “Baby” and “Somebody to Love” were…Zzzzzz.

Other plot points. Sue joins the Glee club to cheer herself up after failing to lead the Cheerios into Nationals. She joins them for a big number, then decides to use her free time coaching rival glee club Aural Intensity (OMG that name). Rachel’s attempt to become a fashion trendsetter fails, .as does Sue’s attempt to pit Diva against Diva. Lauren sings her first solo while imagining the Glee club in their underwear. Sam breaks up with Quinn after Santana forces him to face the fact that she cheated on him And hey, why does Finn have trouble dating his friend’s girlfriend on the down low after he sanctimoniously broke up with Rachel for cheating? Huh?

So Yah. A pretty boring episode. Oh, except Rachel suggests that in order to blow the competition away at regionals, New Directions needs to sing original songs. Hello radio play and hit songs for the Glee gang! Billboard has reported that it’s likely the Glee cast will be recording original material.

Baby – Sam

Somebody to Love – Sam, Artie, Puck, Mike

Take Me Or Leave Me – Rachel and Mercedes

This Little Light of Mine – Will, Sue and Hospital Kids

I Know What Boys Like – Lauren
