Gina Glocksen Blogs about Her New Song “List of Regrets”

Newly-married Season 6 contestant, Gina Glocksen is working on a new album, and she’s just finished a song she wants you all to hear. She blogs from her website:

No, not literally a list of my regrets. . . it’s my NEW SONG! I am so excited about this one. I think you are really going to be blown away and maybe even a little bit surprised by it. It started out as a goofy little keyboard lick, but my AMAZING producer (Adam) turned it into a heart-pounding mesh of rock and techno. Can I give you one bit of advice? Turn it up because you have to listen to this one LOUD!

I’m planning on releasing ‘List of Regrets’ as my FIRST SINGLE on itunes within the month. If you haven’t signed up on my email list, please do so I can send you word when it is available. If you like the song please spread the love and tell your friends to check it out. That’s all for now. Hope you LOVE IT!

    Is not bad, but is not catchy enough… I just hear it and I already forget about it…if you know what I mean..

    Average song imho. I don’t think her voice has any uniqueness either.

    Like Gina, I don’t like pop music like this though so I won’t buy it however this song has a great hook and I see her hitting up high on the charts with this one.

    I like it. I don’t much like pop but I think it’s a very good song compared to much of what I hear on top 40. She sings one hell of a lot better than Britney, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry (should I go on?).

    Good for her. I hope she does well with this. Not my cuppa (but neither is Pink). I just hope people don’t call it a Pink rip off… if you catch my drift. I agree with gingerly.. better than some of the other pop divas out there.

    I dunno. There’s something missing. I can’t put my finger on it. It’s definately Pink-esque and it pales in comparison.

    It’s not a bad song but it’s not something that would make me stop and listen if I was flipping channels on the radio or TV.

    The song reminds me of an 80′s techno song and yes it is catchy I doubt I would buy it.

    Maybe it is just me but can her shirt by any lower ? Well luckily it was not a outside photo shoot up north or somethings would have a bit of frostbite EH.

    Just wanted to say I never thought twice about Gina before, and wasn’t really a fan when she was on Idol, but after giving this a listen because I was bored and semi-curious I’m surprised to find I really like this song (even more surprising because I’m a hard-rock fan and don’t care beans about techno pop).

    I think this could be a hit and I hope she gets enough publicity to find an audience for it, though considering how un-memorable she really was on Idol I guess it’s a long shot).

    Also it may be Pink-inspired but this is FAR superior to Pink’s music (which isn’t saying much in my opinion).

    Liked it, and I think it could be a real hit if she can just get some exposure.

    I hope there’s someone pushing this to radio, because I think it could do well. I like it a lot. Whoever Adam is, he did a great job with the production.

    Gina has a lot of potential – she was one of my favorites on her season and imo she left way, WAY too early.

    It’s catchy enough, but she does not sound good here and certainly doesn’t have the star potential Pink does. All the best to her though…

    This was my first season following the show so I haven’t heard her sing anything before this and I really enjoyed it. Definitely something that I can see making people want to get up and dance. I wish her well because I’d like to hear this on the radio.
