Five Men Invade the X Factor’s Stage after a Honey G Performance

Police was called to the X Factor studios.

During the live finals of X Factor UK season 6, a young DJ from Scotland randomly appeared on stage with a pineapple on his head during Jedward’s performance. His stage name was Calvin Harris.

Tonight, 5 men rushed the X Factor’s stage right after Honey G’s first performance. She performed a mash up of “Can’t Touch This” (MC Hammer) and “Super Freak” (Rick James). Right as judge Louis Walsh started delivering his comments (He loved everyone and everything tonight!), something started happening on stage. I was busy typing up the comments and the cameras were turned towards the judging table anyway, but I quickly realized Simon wasn’t at the panel anymore. Louis continued talking like a pro until the situation on stage was resolved. Check out the video taken from the audience to see what really happened.

The Sun reports:

X FACTOR bosses called police last night after five men launched a stage invasion during controversial rapper Honey G’s first performance.

Cops arrived within minutes to Fountain Studios in Wembley, North London to question the men who had been held on site by show bosses.

X Factor sources said the men – aged between 20 and 30 – had got into the audience by pretending to have disabilities.

They then all stormed the stage when Honey G was rapping.

Police and X Factor bosses are believed to have asked the contestant if she felt she had been assaulted during the stage invasion as theydecide what action to take.

A show source said: “Honey is shaken but OK. The police arrived quickly and she was asked if she felt any sort of assault had taken place.

“She said she didn’t feel she had been assaulted and vowed to go ahead with her second performance.”

The group are believed to be serial pranksters who have previously been jailed for their activities.

Met police said they were called to a disturbance at Fountain Studios Wembley.
No arrested have been made.

One of the suspected stage invaders, Daniel Jarvis, posted a picture of himself in the X Factor studio earlier in the evening with the caption: “Making my X Factor debut today so excited.”

X Factor insiders furiously denied the stage invasion was any sort of fix.

Apparently the guys were on a mission to steal Honey G’s cap and sunglasses.
