Elliott Yamin Previews New Single, “Fight For Love” Due To Drop March 10

Good for Elliott. He’s a nice guy and a good singer. Too bad he sings r&b which isn’t my cup of tea.

I’m liking what I’ve heard so far. I can’t wait to hear the full song. I like the other songs I’ve heard as well. I hope to hear more of the song that was featured in that youtube of Elliott in the studio with JD. I like that it seems like Elliott this type around is doing more of an R&B album. It sounds like I’m going to like this album more than his debut.

Well it’s not so easy to tell from this little acapella clip but it sounds pretty good to me! Elliott definitely has a really gorgous voice and the R&B vibe seems to suit him well.

I am so ready for Elliott to release his single! I’m an R&B kinda gal so I really like what I’m hearing!

My boy Elliott — sounding super soulful and looking better with the shorter hair so we can see his sweet face. I hope he is taking good care of his health.

Sophomore albums from most semifinalists — and most winners — tend to sell worse than their debuts. But Elliott assembled a topnotch team in the studio again and I hope he can buck the odds. I’ll be buying.

I’m not an R&B person, but I like E so much I’ll be buying and playing everything he records.

Anyway, I don’t consider the song in the clip to be R&B. His tour last year didn’t seem R&B either, just good music.

I love Elliott’s voice and I love R&B when it’s done properly. I really don’t like alot of current r&b though because it all seems generic, and it’s more about who is producing instead of picking good songs.

I don’t like the song as much as I liked “Wait For You.” The chorus is not bad though.

It would be very hard for me to like a song more than Wait for You…….but I love all of the songs that I have heard from this CD…………cannot wait to get my hands on the Real CD !!

I LOVED Elliott’s first album and am looking forward to hearing the next one. This single, “Fight for Love” sounds more like a pop tune than R&B to me though. If his whole album has songs like this than it’ll be less of a R&B album than was his first I think. In any case, I hope Elliott has as much success as he did with his debut effort.

I heard other possible songs from the album and they’re excellent r&b songs. I agree FFL has more of a pop vibe. Maybe Elliott’s “team” knows this is what radio will play. But they’ll def be lots of good r&b on the album as well.

It’s just basically impossible to sell albums without a lot of radio play. So either make something that radio plays or suffer. And that’s true for everyone – including Kelly Clarkson. The first album off Idol gets a boost from the show but every album after that faces this problem x10.

Thenk yew for the preview! So far, I’m more attached to it then I was to Wait for You, maybe because this one makes better exercise music.

Loving Elliott Yamin’s vibe…standing by to get his new CD. May seems like an long time from now, but I’m happy with what I’m hearing so far. It oughta be FAN-tastic!!!
