Elliott Yamin’s episode for Don’t Forget the Lyrics aired on Wednesday, and you can watch it in 3 parts after the jump.

The charities Elliot played for were the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Malaria No More.

After correctly singing lyrics to songs in the $5,000 and $10,000 categories, Elliott decides to go for the $50,000 prize. Does he win the big prize? Watch the vid to find out…

    Lol! Before I read your comment, I was thinking the same thing, he is so annoying! I watched the Taylor episode yesterday and between the two of them, it was painful! It was watching a father wind up an exciteable child before bedtime! I felt like saying, stop getting him so excited or he won’t sleep.

    Elliott looked and sounded great. Always loved him on idol.

    I agree that the host was irritating. And Elliott could use another catch phrase beyond “I was born ready.”

    Elliott did an amazing job! I wanted to keep hearing him sing for as long as possible, so was rooting for him to go for the big money ;) I would love it if he would record “Sexual Healing” – he killed that song!

    Oh, I was on cloud nine, watching Elliott. Thanks MJ, for posting this. Elliott’s voice is so original. He has his own authentic sound.
    It was amazing hearing him sing, and I had a constant smile, on my face!

    I agree about, him recording “Sexual Healing”. He sonded great, and on the cuff, with NO auto-tune! Such a soulful unique voice.

    I love that boy-man! He looked really great, and tried to keep an upbeat personna, epecially with Mark Mcgrath jumping around.
    Too many Red Bulls for Mark,…maybe?

    Fun to see and hear Elliott again. His tweets about working on his new album make it sound like he might be going more old school this time around. If this is true, his third album is likely to be his best.

    Great comments on Elliott Yamin’s appearance on DFTL. He killed it on “Sexual Healing”. I absolutely loved it. Thank God for the internet and instant access so I can watch his performance at least a few more times. Mark McGrath did say to Elliott “Man, you can sing”…so have a few more red bulls Mark because you know talent when you hear. Great charities to be playing for as well!!!
