Ellie, your recap was spot on!!!

“First the technical stuff. I did not hear any helium effect during Adam’s set. Neither did two of my friends. But my other two friends did hear it during ‘Starlight.’

I heard Adam in Milwaukee, and thought Starlight sounded strange but wasn’t sure if it was the sound system, or mic or what. I don’t know about the helium? would someone fill me in please?????
I’m such an Adam nut I’m going to see him in Madison on Friday again.
I did get his autograph in MKE, and he shook my hand. I just about died. But the songs go too quick, you are right, and then you can’t remember anything because you were so mesmerized by him. What is it with Adam that we eat drink and sleep him. (or would like to) My family thinks I’m nuts, all I do is think of Adam 24-7.

Ellie, thanks for such an awesome review, sounds like you and your friends had a wicked night. I felt like I was there with you!

I think almost every review I’ve read regarding Adam, everyone has experienced the same thing, being caught up in a whirlwind of emotions and floating in an alien universe until he descends down into the floor shrouded in glowing light.

Although Adam is my out and out fave that not even the angels can touch him, I am thrilled that Matt is getting much love and admiration and some great reviews also from the journos. It warms my heart, as he was my 2nd fave on the show, and I knew he had more in him to give than what he gave on the show. He just needed the arena and audience to show us all what he could really do.

Ellie, what a great recap! Nice writing too…nice and CORRECT, funny, engaging, emotional. Made me think of going to S7 shows just to see Cook! And I will see Adam eventually, I just have to wait this year, due to circumstances beyond my control. I love your Adam-love and the vision of you five 30-something women having so much fun. It is just FUN being a no-holds-barred fan, isn’t it? So glad you went to see your Adam. Thanks for sharing.

I also had the ADAMNESIA experience at the first concert I attended. At the second, I made a conscious effort to etch selected images into my brain. That’s worked out well

Ellie, thankyou, thankyou for a review of masterful distinction…….despite the number of primer’s you drank. Good thing You got your stillettos under control as the time you’d get wouldn’t be worth His holynothots demise!
Cool sure got hot and sweaty, quickly, when the Adam appeared eh! what a visual!!!!Drip! Drip!
Loved the new thought(actually, old thought revisited) of genetically wired to follow and or respond to sets of characteristics we are drawn to,. on a subconscious level. your visuals…out of body returning thuds ….such meaty description. Loved your writing!
Agree Matt is so good, Alive and Live. Needs a recording deal. And Anoop such a smooth voice and I just couldn’t put my finger on it , But, yes, He sings beautifully and remains emotionally distant or slightly cereberal…not quite within the moment!. I feel he is very aware of who he thinks he should be! I would love to see him let go. He could be, so, Awesome??!!

Hi Ellie, fabulous recap. All us Adamfanatics have to exchange email addresses before the tour ends. I’m gonna miss all you guys. Maybe I’ll get some sleep then and my family may get my attention. MJ, you rule our lives, I tell you. At least I have my older sister to email every night about Adam and a couple of other friends. But she and I are truly obsessed like you guys. We are obviously in great company. I “zoned” out when Adam was on at both concerts I attended. It felt like I was in a dream then it ended too quickly. Thought I was having serious “half-zheimers” or something. When he was descending, people around me were screaming “Don’t go!! Come back!!” Love, love, love Adam…..
