Don’t Expect Adam Lambert on The Set Of Glee Just Yet (VIDEO)

Adam Lambert chatted with Access Hollywood at the LA premiere of Lovelace about his upcoming appearance on Glee.

About the character he’ll play on the musical comedy, Adam said that so far, all he’s had are “conversations” with the producers. “I have no clue, no indication of what I’m doing,” the American Idol alum stressed. “I’m waiting on pins and needles just like you are.”

“But I’m excited, I’m really excited,” Adam enthused.

That rules out Adam making an appearance in the first 3 episodes, which began filming on Monday. The first two episodes, which are tributes to the music of the Beatles, were written back in May. I can’t imagine a new character being introduced during the 3rd episode, which will serve as a tribute to the late Cory Monteith and a goodbye to the character he played, Finn Hudson.

After episode 3, the show will take a hiatus to make room for the World Series. Ryan Murphy told reporters recently that when the show takes a break after the 3rd episode (which would be October 10. Glee premieres on September 26.) the production team will re-work the storyline in the wake of Cory’s death. Adam’s debut, I suspect, will come in November at the earliest. So stay tuned. More will be revealed, I’m sure.

The story is a biopic about Linda Lovelace, who starred in the infamous 70’s porn movie. The term “Deep Throat” comes up, in case you were wondering!
