loved this!! Got to Love a girl with a big heart wearing stillettos!!!
What lots of us will endure for “fashion” and “damn” makes the legs look goooood! HEE! Such a great story, from being the determined screamer, supporting every idol faithfully until the last squeak, the crippleing, and sinking into disheveled exhaustion. And “holy toledo”…….. JUMBOTRON!!!!…..All I can say is “Stay strong girl and this will become one of those fab stories to tell and retell for the ages.
This sounded like a wonderful finale for the tour!

Deseree, I think I would've looked just like you on the Jumbotron during Kris' set! Adam just takes all the energy out of you! It took me days to recover from seeing Adam in person in San Diego. I have never experienced such thrall from another person, ever!

Desiree, that was so funny about you being on the Jumbotron looking like a worn out party pooper. Had me laughing thinking about that sight. Would have loved to have been at that Manchester show. How did your dad and his friend enjoy the show? Who were their favorites? So glad you had a great time. Kudos to all of them. Waiting for anything from Adam right now. So excited for what’s coming. Lucky you to have gone to the Manchester show! I’m just so thrilled that we saw most of Adam’s set on the cellcast. It was wonderful. Glad you enjoyed everyone and had such a good time. You didn’t say if your father had a good time. Hope he enjoyed it too. Thanks again!!

You tell a good story with real “laugh out loud” moments. The Jumbotron part was flat out funny. And you are obviously a good sport; a sweet person (consciously up dancing and giving your all to everyone alike).

I had the same impression of Scott. On the show, he seemed to often be offkey to me, and I hated about half of his song choices (schmaltzy even for that type of AC music–that Bruce Hornsby song for ex.). Scott sounded terrific though when I saw him live, and did very well with his two more modern songs–probably one of my top four for that evening (with Adam/Danny pretty even, then Matt, then Scott).

The audience I was with was ok with Scott’s jokes, although I had read them here so they were stale to me. The audience also was fine with Danny’s little dance; people seemed to be aware it was coming, and actually looking forward to it as a fun interlude as far as I could see. Maria Maria from Danny was one of the two places in the whole concert where any significant part of the audience was up dancing, the other being Adam with the Bowie medley. My concert was not an edgy-type crowd, although they also loved Adam.

It looked like such a fun evening in Manchester wrapping up for them all. It will be interesting to see how they all go on from here.

I really enjoyed your recap, thank you! You’re so lucky you got to see the last show. I wish I could have been there, I’d give anything to have one of Adam’s necklaces.

The same thing happened at my concert with Michael and Megan. Not to take anything away from Michael, because he did do a good job of opening the show, but I think a lot of the enthusiasm for him was because the show was finally starting. When Megan came out, she got a very tepid response. I hope she can find her niche, and finds some kind of success through the show.

Great recap, Desiree! Even after going to three shows this year, I really wished I could have gotten to Manchester for the finale. Sounds like (minus the high-heel pain) you had a fantastic time! Thanks for sharing your experience and sorry about the jumbotron. I shudder to think about being plastered up on one of those. You’re a trouper!
