Democratic National Convention Day 4: Hillary Clinton, Jessica Sanchez!

The final night of the Democratic National Convention had Hillary Clinton accept the party’s nomination and make a case for electing her president. While the speech wasn’t particularly poetic, it was full of optimism, patriotism, and can-do attitude that welcomed anyone who wanted to come along. She also described her plan and how she’d pay for it, while promising to work across the aisle with republicans to get things done.

Clinton was introduced by her daughter, Chelsea, who delivered a personal speech, describing a mom who always managed to make time for her growing up. If the Dems don’t get a bounce in the polls after a highly organized and well put together convention, they’re in trouble.

And there is EVEN AN AMERICAN IDOL CONNECTION! Remember the Jessica Sanchez song, “Stronger Together” written by Bruce Roberts, Carole Bayer Sager, and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds for the Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC? It played as the balloons and confetti fell! How awesome is that for the American Idol 11 runner-up?

Also, Katy Perry Performed!
