Many people were upset when DeAndre Brackensick was cut from the Top 40 last year, so I imagine if he is cast this season he will have a large following. He has a beautiful falsetto, and would add an interesting dynamic to the cast.
Last season, I thought there was something different about how Nigel Lythgoe featured a few of the people who were cut. It reminded me more of how people on So You Think You Can Dance can featured on one season only to be brought in the next season. Nigel has never really used this strategy on idol but I could see it as something he starts doing to ensure he always has a pool of talent to bring back.
