I just watched this again and it reminded me of how I loved his Papa was a Rolling STones performance.. :wub_tb:

I actually fell in love with his voice early on in AI (maybe even before I got hooked with DC). It’s such a shame that his past made him got booted off. :furious_tb:

He has such a great, powerful voice. He can surely sell so many records with his type of personality: very friendly, easy going, good singer and dancer? I can kinda see him as another Justin Timberlake.

I really wish him the best!!! I can actually see myself buying his CD if he ever has one out.. :clap_tb:

What a shame that David didn’t make the top 10. He has an awesome voice,and, seems to be media savvy. I believe that TPTB kind of threw him under the bus, as I don’t believe Kristy Lee Cook had more votes. Here’s hoping she leaves soon, and, very soon.

Ellen knows that bringing the idols on her show is good for her ratings, that is why she does it. David is a class act, he would have been an asset on the tour.

He can sing, he can dance, so I hope Broadway finds a place for him. He was also on one of the mornings show today and I caught most of it but I was heading out the door and can’t remember what channel was on. He was one of my favorites so I wish he’d have stayed awhile longer. Papa was a Rolling Stone is one of the best performances this year IMO. Good luck David.

Thanks, MJ. David did a good job on Ellen’s show. He seems like a very positive person. I hope that he becomes very successful at something which will make him happy.

I wonder what type of solo concert he would put on. It would be a shame if all of that dancing talent went to waste.

I love his voice – I wonder if his past really did catch up with him or Idol somehow managed to “bump” him. It would have been nice to see him on the tour. He and Chikezie are the only ones with any R& B flavor to them. Now we just have Chikezie!!

I thought David did much better on Ellen than he did on idol. I found this video on celebtv of him singing off of the show and itÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s pretty impressiveÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦they got a bunch of other idol stuff as well as general celebrity news too

Thanks for the video, mj. Ellen looked a little uncomfortable when she was trying to bring up the stripper issue, but David handled it pretty well, no? I wasn’t a big David fan but I liked his performance here. Now that he’s no longer in the competition, I am starting to warm up to him.
