I remember reading that a lot of vids were taken off of utube, but Imma gonna go see if his is still up.

Wow, that brought tears to my eyes! Funny how people keep mentioning the walk down memory lane; just this weekend I was fiddling with my iPod and happened to call up DC’s “Billie Jean” performance video. It still gives me chills! I remember the night he sang that live – March 25, 2008. The day my life changed forever. Because of DC, my interest in music was renewed. It’s mostly because of him that I’ve started taking piano lessons, something I’ve wanted to do my entire life and never made happen. So, thanks, David, for bringing music back into my life!

I thank David for bringing music back into my life too. I hadn’t listened to music much in years,I think I had only bought 1 cd in the past 5 years. I loved David on AI, and then when his cd came out, I really became a fan. I had never really went to concerts, and through listening to his online, I got a love of live music that I never had before and am buying and listening to cds like crazy. His was actually my first major concert and I have been to 3 more since then, and am planning more. And it started with David on AI. I know that I was impressed by him, especially with Hello and Eleanor Rigby, but Billie Jean just blew me away. It was great to hear it last night, and the skaters were good too.

Did the announcer lady towards the end suggest that they had just danced to something from the Phantom of the Opera? Because Cook did that too, but it wasn’t this song…

She said they used a Phantom of the Opera song in their free dance. This one was the exhibition.

Yes seriously, it’s hard to believe it’s been almost two years since DC’s S7 AI. I’ve taken a few trips down memory lane recently too listening to his performances during that time. I smile with “Glee.”
