David Cook Visits the If I Can Dream House – Video Preview

David Cook and his band dropped by the If I Can Dream house last week. Check out a clip of their rather, erm, awkward visit after the jump. The dude with the hair? That’s Justin Gaston, a former Nashville Star contestant (his singing was, uhm, not good) and ex-boyfriend of Idol mentor, Miley Cyrus (she was 15 and he was 20 when they began dating *cough*).

If I Can Dream is the brainchild of Idol creator Simon Fuller, has 5 wannabe artists of various stripes living in a house together. There are cameras in every room and you can drop by the IICD website to check out what the group is doing in real time.

There are also weekly episodes available for streaming on Hulu.com. David’s episode begins airing tomorrow. Also, check out a recap of his visit and his twitter chat at the LA Times HERE.

Anyhoo, I’ve tried watching the streams, and….Zzzz. Thankfully, guest stars like David Cook drop by to spice things up.

    tinawina, this A&R guy, @thedavecarlson, works for David’s A&R guy (forgot his name). He tweets every so often about DC’s songs. Nothing terribly revealing, just general excitement about how awesome everything sounds, which is nice to hear, don’t get me wrong, but I mean, what else is he gonna say, you know?

    I guess the A&R guy could say nothing at all if he did not like DAvid’s music. He is not forced to tweet about it. I am going to believe he likes the music.

    Oh I think he likes the songs, I just don’t know if the OMG FANTASTIC thing is a bit of hyperbole on his part or not. LOL. He does work for the label, it is in his best interest to hype it up a bit. :)

    Still, I’ll take it!

    David: I don’t know what is exactly going on but we bought wine.

    LOL I guess David must be thinking what the hell he’s doing there. The show seems boring as hell just from this short clip. I hope Kris can successfully endure being there next week. Maybe do something crazy like messing up their kitchen or bedroom.
