Ruben Studdard, Melinda Doolittle, and David Cook attended a Ronald McDonald House benefit in New York City last night.

Melinda tweets, “Bliss! Got to meet amazing kids @ the Ronald McDonald House & did it w/ my faves!!! @rubenstuddard @thedavidcook”

David performed three songs – Living on a Prayer, Heroes/Champagne Supernova and Radiohead’s “High and Dry”.

    Oh, I love this thread. I love these videos. They all sound fantastic and YAY for Cookie crumbs that are mixed in with Melinda crumbs and Ruuuuuuuben crumbs. My S2, S6 and S7 favorites all in one place? This is good. I think Melinda is exquisite, her voice – wow.

    High and Dry + Champagne Supernova = 2 of my favorite songs in the world that were not originally performed by David Cook. Him singing these songs makes my brain explode. NEW ALBUM PLEASE! I need more Cookie goodness in my life :)

    These videos made me so happy. Mike’s camera had really good sound quality and he captured the action in each video so well!

    The kids watching Ruben sing was awww! And his sincerity conveying the song was lovely.

    Melinda not only sounded great, but she was such a natural dancer. I couldn’t believe that her singing remained so consistent and even while she was dancing! Her joy was infectious, and it was fun to see the crowd reacting to her in the video.

    Of course I loved the David Cook vids and for me it was like free new music! I have always liked the Heroes/Champagne Supernova mashup and getting that acoustic is a real treat. I was so excited by the new cover, and even though it was cut off, that is 100 times better than never getting to hear it in the first place!
