Now that made me LOL very loudly. Sounds like better fun than anything that might actually have been going on.

I wonder how rock the new single will be… If they’ll go for something softer to ease the AI fans into the new phase, or go the direct opposite to show David’s solo career will be quite different than AI and TOML.

That particular cell cast was hilarious and fun, but I don’t think we heard one note of recognizable music. Those cellcerts were a lot of work for little return, at least musically. I pretty much made a decision after the S5 tour to leave the cellcasts to the fan boards… .

I think we even managed to get some of our stuff reported on other sites.

I remember some people getting pissed off because we were goofing around so much. lol.

Now, now, MJ. We know that wasn’t always true. Ah, how well I remember the MJ cellcert from a certain after-concert. The sound quality had never been worse. It sounded like aliens had invaded and were torturing people and animals and vacuum cleaners and fax machines. IT was awful and painful to listen to. But, back then, we combined posting with chatting and we had a fun time. We pretended we could really here thing and reported all sorts of psychotic things (from Bucky singing Whitney’s “Greatest Love of All” to Elliott playing the bagpipes. Xenu himself showed up and we wrote Scientologis Christmas Carols). I think we even managed to get some of our stuff reported on other sites.

I did a few during Season 5 and the quality was so bad, it sounded like some sort of alien transmission, rather than a concert. LOL. Kirsten can attest to thatà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦

Technically, cellcerts are insane. Cell Phone CODEC is not designed to transmit music. It’s optimized for voice, so you start off behind the 8-ball (lots get lost in the compression).

So, David Cook told a fan this news, right? Why would he blow his own marketing plan? He had to know that news would spread everywhere in like, a minute.

Is he new? LOL. Yes, he should have known this would spread like wild fire. Possibly somebody asked him the name of his single and he heard something different and responded “Right On!”

also, lol, i had a feeling the “text to be the first to know!” plan would go the way of the VP candidate announcements. OOooops… but that DC was the one to leak the info, that was unexpected Oh well, thanks for the scoop, DC!

Just a warning folks, the cellcast links that are currently up are . . . oooh bad quality. Seriously, I could only listen for a few notes and then my ears bled. Though we all appreciate the fans who were attempting to generously share.

I’ll link to cellcasts but I refuse to listen to them…or host them. To me the crappy quality make it not worth the time or investment.
