David Cook will headline the NARM Convention Awards Dinner in Los Angeles at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel on May 12. Also performing will be R&B singer, rapper, and actor Tyrese and singer-songwriter Matt Nathanson.
I’ve had this gig on my calender for awhile now, because it was announced back in January that American Idol would be honored at the convention with an Outstanding Achievement Award celebrating the show’s 10th season.
“We’re thrilled to have such an eclectic and talented lineup of performers to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our 2011 NARM award winners, ” said Jim Donio, President of NARM in a press release. “I’m looking forward to an evening of great music and also the pleasure of honoring these outstanding artists and executives, whose work exemplifies the very best of our industry.”
