Watch David Cook discuss his favorite songs from his upcoming album in this embedded video from the MTV article I posted in Headlines this morning.

High on David’s list are “Permanent” (“It’s very basic, piano, strings and vocal…There was a lot of crying going on when we listened back to it for the first time…it’s a really heavy song…”), “Bar-ba-Sol (“A real heavy riff-rocker…those kinds of songs are fun…”) and “Mr. Sensitive” (“The first song I wrote after the finale.”) and then, of course, the single “Light On,” co-written by Chris Cornell.

According to David, Cornell pitched “Light On”:

à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“And this song actually got pitched to us, which I take as another huge compliment, the fact that he saw something in me with a song of his à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦ just the fact that somebody of his caliber takes the time out of their day not just to mention my name, but to say something nice, ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s kind of out of this world.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬

MTV interviewed Cook during the video shoot for his single, “Light On”. The video, directed by Wayne Isham, was shot last Thursday and Friday.

  • fallforever

I’ve watched this five times now with the sound off (because I’m at work); can I just say I love watching his expressive face and hands. So earnest and so charming.
    Cried, huh? What a surprise!

  • GEEK4VOCAB

He is so adorable. I’m reeeeeallly looking forward to this video!

  • maturin

    Oh Lord.

This is such a disaster for Cook. Rolling Stone writing about him again?

I wish I ran RCA, because severed heads would be raining from the tenth floor, I kid you not.

And look how every mention of Cornell? Just brings us back to that completely disastrous Billie Jean number that got all that over-the-top pimpage from the judges, completely alienated the fans, and lead directly to that horrible night when Cook got eliminated from Idol.

Once he and his band play their first live gig ever on SNL, crushing the final sparks of his career like a kitten beneath a speeding Hummer, the next news will be how he gets dropped from his label just in time to go weeping home to Blue Springs for Christmas. Maybe he should take the bus.

It’s time to stick a fork in it, people.

(There, now that’s taken care of.)

  • Sarah

Now that’s some pre-emptive strike, Maturin. Nice job. :wink_wp:

  • jpfan

I think that was an MTV interview (not Rolling Stone.) Mmm, I wonder if he really, really likes LO or just had to add it because it’s the single. Idols releasing singles before the album is kind of new so it’s really hard to know how this stuff plays out. I wonder when the video will drop. Usually, pretty quickly after the shoot, I think.

LO’s drop on iTunes and that fact that it’ll be out of the BB 100 this week (most likely) is kind of newsworthy. Doesn’t mean I have a fork in my hand, though.

  • spritely

Lol, Maturin! Bus, hell, he’ll be lucky to afford shoes to walk home in, ’cause he’s going to lose that Skechers’ contract any day now. . .

  • http://www.myspace.com/gwendolyndiane GwendolynD

    :laugh_tb:, Maturin!

Sure, this guy is a classic loser. Woe is me!!!

I absolutely loved the look on his face after he mentioned “Light On” – like, “I’d better not even dare leave that one out!” LOL!

  • Aileen

Maturin that was great! You always bring the laughs on. Of course we also need to consider the great conspiracy of the evil iTunes empire hating David Cook, and LO really not being available to be purchased on iTunes in the last several days. Was the glitch fixed? Is he up 8 spots on the iTunes chart in the last hour? Never mind then.

Moving away from the snark, I think that video is great. He’s so happy. I don’t think there is any way to take away that excitement. This does feel surreal. I can’t wait to see the video!

  • http://www.myspace.com/gwendolyndiane GwendolynD

Heà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s so happy. I donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t think there is any way to take away that excitement.

No kidding. He looks like a little boy on Christmas morning.

  • ptslittlecomment

So the iTunes glitch was corrected finally? Good news there, I had heard several complaints but hadn’t seen anything on it outside the fansites. Hopefully he can rebound from the lack of purchases soon.

Maturin, that was one of the best posts I have seen lately. Can’t wait to see you quoted elsewhere by those who didn’t get the toungue in cheek.

Love the still of DC from the video. ( But then again, its hard not to like a photo of the man!) I think the interviewer captured his personality quite well.

  • Trina

maturin I don’t know about you but I’m waving my white flag.

The iTunes glitch was a HUGE screwup and no doubt had an impact on his ranking. Are we sure it’s fixed now? Something seems to be out of whack with iTunes because when I tried to pre-order the album it told me I had already purchased the item *kicksitunes*

  • 123abc456

The glitch is fixed so after about 3 to 5 days you can now purchase Light On on itunes, you cannot gift it though. That is a great MTV article and video. I think all the news has been good about David Cook lately, I cannot wait for the record. I think I will refrain from speculating about a potential Billboard drop as it will be a little skewed because of the itunes problems.

  • ptslittlecomment

Does anyone know of any other artists that were affected by the iTunes glitch?
ETA: Ooops , I know OT! Just wondering if DC was the only one hurt here.

  • cheese

Stupid MTV hating work computer! Thanks for summarizing what David said about the songs. I think I’ll be having “Permanent” on repeat come November 18.

With David appearing on SNL 2 weeks before the album drop, I think the label would be smart to make 30 second song snippets available by 11/1 (particularly since RCA’s strategy seems to be emphasizing album sales/pre-orders – it’s easier for a casual fan to click pre-order if they have some idea what they’re getting).

  • frogcooke

on a side note I purchased LO twice the other day on itunes… during ‘the glitch’

  • ptslittlecomment

Well good frogcooke, At least someone could. I didn’t try because I had two or three folks who I knew who did try but couldn’t download. He’s gone from 98 to 90 today on the iTunes chart as of now.

ETA: When a friend of mine tried to download it Friday, she received a comment that the tune was not available yet in the US.

  • soundscene

Of course we also need to consider the great conspiracy of the evil iTunes empire hating David Cook, and LO really not being available to be purchased on iTunes in the last several days. Was the glitch fixed? Is he up 8 spots on the iTunes chart in the last hour? Never mind then.

You could still purchase it that entire time. All you had to do is press “Buy.” The glitch simply affected people’s ability to get to the Light On page. But if you searched for it, or if you found it in the pop top 100 or the itunes top 100 and pressed buy, the purchase would be successful. Now, as for whether the glitch affected the sales in any significant way, I’m not sure. Today’s increase could simply be because most songs are played more on weekdays than on weekends, especially if a song hasn’t made syndicated countdowns yet.

Actually, I think it’s better to believe the song moved up because of increased airplay than because an itunes glitch was fixed. It means people are responding to the song.

  • ptslittlecomment

    à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Mr. Sensitiveà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ (à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ The first song I wrote after the finale.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ )

Maybe its about Simon. That would sell at least to the other Idol contestants -and rejects – through the years!

  • jenni

You could get it but here’s the glitch I found:

I purchased the song sometime in the middle of the week, got a copy, but it’s not in my purchase history and I was never charged for it. When people started reporting a problem, I went in and bought another copy last night, along with a completely unrelated song, because, hey, 99 cents to see if it would work and sure enough, I got a copy of both songs but I was never charged for Light On, only for the other song.

I tried it one more time this morning once people said it was fixed and right away, the song showed up with today’s date in my purchase history. So you could click on Buy Song and get a copy of the song but not be charged for it.

Big, big problem. And not one that I think RCA would sneeze at since it cost them A LOT of money if Itunes doesn’t eventually charge people for it.

But now I randomly have three copies of Light On for 99 cents. It’d be a deal if I wasn’t actually one of those honest people who likes to pay for music, lol.

  • tinawina

Oh is THAT what happened, soundscene? LOL. I heard the rumblings but since I never tried to buy it myself, I didn’t really have a grasp for what happened. I wonder how many people tried but gave up once they got the “not available in US” message? Could have been few, or it could have been many. Who knows? We certainly never will. I agree with you though, a move up is good no matter how you slice it.

  • erinrachelle74

I couldn’t buy it…it gave me a message that it was no longer available when I hit the buy button so I think it was doing woinky things for some and working for others. Glad they have it fixed!

  • Trina

I tried every method under the sun and I could not buy it at all. Since I had already purchased it I tried from my husbands computer and his separate iTunes account and even when I searched for it I still got the same message saying it wasn’t available in the US. This was Saturday.

  • Keel

jenni — I read of others who had the same experience as you.

My experience was with buying the album on pre-order. When I hit pre-order, I was told that I already bought it (which was not possible) and when I checked my iTunes, I got another download of LO. When I checked my account though, it turned out that I wasn’t charged for it.

Either way, LO and the album were seriously messed up on iTunes over the past few days.

  • jenni

    Keel–

I got the “you have already purchased this” message, but I think that’s due to the copy of “Light On” that immediately starts to download when you do the presale, not the album.

  • 123abc456

I also tried several times to buy Light on on itunes and was never charged and the first time was last Tuesday, so you may have been able to download it sure but you were not charged so I bet it did not count towards sales, just a guess. Big, big problem. I hope they fix it.

  • daniely

I just read Cook’s interview on MTV about how David Archuleta will be very uncomfortable in his MV trying to win a girl. Cook is being extremely obnoxious, again. How is David suppose to behave around women to be considered “comfortable” by you, Cook?

I do think it is a brilliant idea for Cook to get David star in his video. Maybe then his single can sell.

  • 123abc456

I love David Cook , I think he has a good sense of humor and he loves to tease his friends. Light On is a fabulous song that I think is on its way to being a hit. MTV just wrote a great article the last one of many, all is good. David is set to appear on SNL, has a new video coming out. I am lovin me some David Cook and you know what I believe American Idol ended 5 months or so ago.

  • LK08

daniely- I wouldn’t read too much into Cook’s comment on David being uncomfortable. Cook saw David meeting women and girls by the 100′s every day very comfortably. DA is shy. He was VERY good at the shy flirting in his video, but if he had to go in hot pursuit on camera, I think he would be very uncomfortable. Cook was kidding and I am sure DA is not at all offended.

Every interaction Cook has had and everything he has ever said about David has lead me to believe that he adores and admires David. He would never say something to hurt his friend.

  • hypertwink

Daniely, I agree with LK08 that it was a joke, one of which has been a recurring theme when it comes to Archie. Like his aversion to being touched. DC, MJ, JC, Brooke and Carly have all riffed on that, as well as his no gf status at the moment (which probably stems from his apparent and admitted shyness around girls), and the random humming/singing.

  • http://www.myspace.com/swood1104 Sarah

Oooh, me likey these song descriptions. The way he describes “Permanent” makes me think I’m going to LOVE it. Sparse piano ballads are some of my faves.

Is it November 18 yet?? :)

  • FolkFan

Maturin, your posts always make me snicker.

My understanding is that the only way to access Light On during the problem time was to press “buy the album.” (Which seems like a strange thing to press to buy a single.) I checked it out last night, and if you pressed anything else (name of the song, cover photo, etc.), it would tell you that it was not available. I also ran into problems doing the preorder today—if I had not been persistent, the preorder would not have occurred. Hope that they get all of the glitches fixed soon.

Finally, love the story and the video.

  • ptslittlecomment

Cook’s comment about Archie in the next video has to be a joke. Its along the lines of him giving Archie panties to hold at the tour’s curtain call or hugging him unexpectantly. Archie always played along, even sometimes laughingly smacking him in response. They are good friends! Light On is going to do just fine, especially if folks can actually purchase it!

  • sunchick

I bet Cook’s happy they didn’t put him in football pants to sing on the football field. Cuz we know how fond he was of those lycra matador pants. :laugh_tb: It’s so nice to hear him talk about the album. I’m sure Permanent will make me verklempt, but the song I’m really stoked about now is Bar-ba-sol. Love me some heavy riff rockin, and I read somewhere that Andy’s nickname is Barbasol. Wonder if that’s because he didn’t have the facial hair that Cook and Neal had back in the day. Oh, those boys.

As for the joke: I actually don’t care for the song Crush so I may be off base, but from what I remember after a cursory listen it’s a song about a shy guy admiring a girl from afar that seemed to suit Archuleta just fine. Thus I’m not exactly getting obnoxiousness there from Cook, just a little harmless ribbing of friend and his widely accepted public persona. I actually think it’s adorable the way Cook treats the kid like one of the guys.

  • cookcricket

I know this is OT, but since you all were talking about the glitches on itunes I wondered if anyone knows if there is a cut off date for pre-ordering the album there in order to get the extra song.

    Thanks!!!

So now back on topic the songs DC described sound incredible!!!! I cannot wait until Nov. 18th!!!
BTW, what a jokester DC is!!! I think Archie’s loving response would be: haha!

  • hypertwink

Also, I just realized where the cameo thing came from. Last year, Blake was in Jordin’s tattoo video. D’oh!

  • jan

If you could manage to purchase LO on iTunes last week check your credit card. I tried to purchase one copy. Three were instantly downloaded. I wasn’t charged for any of them. I have seen messages from others who figured out how to purchase last week – but then were never charged.

  • ptslittlecomment

As someone said before, I doubt if the ones that were not charged were counted as sales for DC. No wonder he is barely hanging in on the top iTunes 100.

  • sma11ie

Hmm, reading about a lot of glitches on the pre-order sitch in iTunes, so to avoid extra hassle, I’ll just wait another day.

As for the joke: I actually donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t care for the song Crush so I may be off base, but from what I remember after a cursory listen ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s a song about a shy guy admiring a girl from afar that seemed to suit Archuleta just fine. Thus Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m not exactly getting obnoxiousness there from Cook, just a little harmless ribbing of friend and his widely accepted public persona. I actually think ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s adorable the way Cook treats the kid like one of the guys.

I completely agree. Archie himself has joked about how the Idols all (lovingly) made fun of him when Crush came out during the tour, and that they would all break out into the song to embarrass him. I think it’s totally adorable, and just part of the way some of the other Idols show their love for the kid. Archie’s also said that Cook texted him when he first heard Crush, and told Archie he thought his song was “awesome”, so I really don’t think Archie would’ve taken Cook’s joke as any slight on him, his personality, or his song. The Davids have given me every indication that their fondness, respect, and mutual admiration for each other is genuine– we have months of quotes, interviews, and video evidence to this, so I’m not going to start reading passive-aggressive type character slams in every jokingly made remark. YMMV, but in this particular case, I find it really tough to find anything obnoxious or mean-spirited in Cook’s comment (this is the guy who, early on in the competition, cited mean-spirited people as his pet peeve.) Whenever one David has mentioned or is asked of the other in interviews, all I hear/read is a constant lovefest. They are good people and make me happy. The fact that there appear to be some who still want to make everything into a competition, however kind of disrupts that bliss. Bummer. Like someone said upthread, the competition ended in May.

ETA: Looks like DC’s album is climbing- up to #33 on iTune’s top albums, yay! Can’t wait to order mine tomorrow. RV65, thanks!

  • RV65

    HIGH FIVE SMALL11ie! WORLD PEACE!

  • ianamy

If you look at Archie fansites, a lot of fans are turned off by Cook’s comments, while others decide to give him the benefit of doubt.

I am surprised that Cook can get away with jerky comments because he is “joking.” Oh well, he got away with the whole White Album crap because he was “joking.” Nothing new here.

  • hypertwink

Yup, nothing new with some fans thinking ill of what was most likely a joke.

  • sma11ie

a lot of fans are turned off by Cookà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s comments … I am surprised that Cook can get away with jerky comments because he is à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“joking.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ Oh well, he got away with the whole White Album crap because he was à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“joking.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬

Really? Wow, so a lot of fans are turned off from that comment? I’m definitely surprised, but then again, I guess it’s only natural that I’m really out of touch with how “a lot of fans” on both sides feel since I don’t participate in either David’s fan sites– and this confirms for me that they aren’t for me. Don’t want to disrupt that bliss further, haha.

Anyway, maybe it’s easier for me to “get” DC’s particular brand of (good) humor because his personality is a lot like my friends’. My friends and I love each other, but we definitely joke around, snark, and make fun of each other. We kid because we love, that sort of thing. It’s kind of astonishing to me that this might not be commonly accepted, but what do I know.

As for the White Album comment (or “crap”, depending on your stance), I don’t necessarily think there was any need to “get away with” saying that. A musician claiming that he wants to make something like the White Album– why would that necessitate an apology? That said, the reporter noted that chuckled after the comment, which reminds us that he still views everything about his new life as “absurd”, or “weird, man.” That, as he says in this MTV article (on topic, yay!) “little things keep happening along the way that drive the point home that I’m doing something that’s both insane and really fulfilling”– to me, it sounds like he’s got high hopes, but not taking anything about this crazy trip for granted– not a “jerky” attitude at all. Okay, I think I’ve said enough on the topic. YMMV. Did I mention, DC looks really cute in that hoodie :wub_tb:?

  • ianamy

Well, I get that different people have different opinions. Jerky behavior in some eyes are exactly the way some others treat their friends.

For Cook, he probably doesn’t have bad intentions. Maybe he is a bit stressed about the single sales. Just careful not to descend into Blake or Constantine territory, that’s all.

  • elisad

Yeah, he jokes because he’s so stressed about single sales. Wait a minute, is he sitting down in this video? He must be so stressed he can even stand still now.

  • hypertwink

I want to hear Permanent. So. Much.

  • wordnerdarchie

I am surprised that Cook can get away with jerky comments because he is à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“joking”.

I do not know if he was joking or not, nor would I want to speculate on that. But I didn’t interpret his comment as jerky. I think it needs to be put into a proper context.

    Cook said:

“I’d make him the male lead. He’d have to win the girl, and he’d be horribly uncomfortable with that.”

Cook and Archuleta have just spent most of the last year in each other’s presence (January through mid September). They have both said they respect each other as artists and as people and are close friends. I believe they know each other very well. I’m sure they know what things make them uncomfortable and what does not. I have met them both, and each of them always seem to be very aware of saying what is appropriate for whatever situation that they’re in.

I would not presume to know Archie or Cook better than they know each other. Given their friendship, if Cook says Archie would be uncomfortable trying to win the girl, I’m of the opinion that he’s saying what he believes to be true. I don’t get why saying that is a bad thing. I just wonder why we, the fans, would think we know these young men better than they know each other?

Just as an aside, if I had to be in a video and try to get the guy, I’d be uncomfortable with that also.

  • http://myspace.com/girlgeek mj

You know I work with guys. I have for the past 10 years. And here’s how it works. Guys give each other shit. All the time. It’s how they bond. Teasing and ribbing are a sign that they like each other. The poor male Idols sometimes forget that their fanbase is primarily made up of women, some of whom may be really unforgiving when it comes to displays of friendly, good natured guy-bonding. Just one more thing Idols have to keep in check in order not to send the fan bases into a ridiculous frenzy.

And with that, I would ask that this thread get back on topic. And I’ll be deleting and trimming off-topic material, as necessary.

I’m also going to be banning trolls. Just a warning to those fans who spend all their time baiting fans in threads of Idols they don’t even like.

  • Layla

That hoodie look is just a’killin’ me! Damn he’s adorable.

See nothing wrong with what he says about DA. Just a-funnin’ with him.

I am not new to AI, having watched it on and off the last 3 seasons, and clips of previous season. But DC is the reason I have become involved in AI fandom…and I have to say that I cannot get over how overzealous and nit-pciky and controlling (in an odd way) some fans are. I’m gobsmacked sometimes.

…and did I mention the look on his face when he mentions LO at the end…luverly!

  • Keel

If you look at Archie fansites, a lot of fans are turned off by Cookà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s comments, while others decide to give him the benefit of doubt.

I thought I’d seen it all but the notion that the joke Cook made in the MTV interview about Archie starring in his next video would be taken by some as anything other than good-natured ribbing of a good friend is actually shocking to me. I’ve just heard Cook say so many nice things about Archie in radio, TV and magazine interviews (which Archie has reciprocated) that I just can’t even begin to understand how any of his comments could be perceived as some sort of underhanded slam on Archie. I mean just last week Cook was doing a radio interview to promote the album and some female DJ was talking about Archie seeming more like he was 12 rather than 17, and Cook piped up that he and all the other Idols often teased Archie about being 17 going on 30 because he was just so mature and focused that he seemed more mature than they were. But I suppose there’s an obnoxious component to that defense of Archie as well?

  • http://myspace.com/girlgeek mj

    Reminder:

I continue to delete off-topic posts.

Please keep your remarks on topic. The topic is the MTV article I posted here. Could we please get back to discussing it? Thank you.

  • Keel

Anyone else notice this mistake-laden ad at the bottom of the MTV article:

    David Cook
New album out 11/4. Get the single “Lights On” now.
    apple.com/davidcook

So what if there was an error on the release date for the album, the title of the single and the link to a Page Not Found, at least they got his name right.

  • sma11ie

Yay, I just pre-ordered the album on iTunes after clicking the link on this site. Seems like iTunes ironed out the glitches cuz it worked just great for me. So, quick question for MJ– if I clicked the iTunes link here and make purchases, do they all count for you? I’m browsing the $7.99 singer-songwriter sale right now, and I just wanted to make sure my subsequent purchases count too.

  • http://myspace.com/girlgeek mj

Yes they do. Thank you :) .

  • maturin

Actually, if, per the MTV article, these two guys can come up with a way to cameo in either of each other’s videos, I’m pretty sure I’d just explode from the adorableness.

My evidence? The infamous Access Hollywood interview from final 2 night

    aka The Grapes of Wrath

Are those two boys full of sweetness or what?

And on one of the most high-stress nights of their lives! In tough times to come, I sure hope I can behave with this much friendship and grace. They almost make it look their lives are better for all that joy and lack of ego!

    :eek_wp:

MJ, did not want to strike the corpse of the horse that was, so much as share that link, because I think it is in its way, very on-topic, in the broadest sense of all those who love This Cheesy Show. About which you run this awesome site, for which I thank you.

  • http://www.myspace.com/gwendolyndiane GwendolynD

So, “Light On” was the “get it right now” incentive for pre-ordering the album. At least that’s what the iTunes banner says. Why not just complete my album instead of leaving me with three extra copies of the song?

  • spritely

His album’s now up to #7 on the general itunes chart and #3 on pop. I wish they had it categorized under what it is and what *he* says it is. . .rock.

  • http://www.myspace.com/gwendolyndiane GwendolynD

Keith Griffin of Better than Ezra just posted a MySpace blog, indicating that he collaborated with David C. on the song “Avalanche” on the new album:

I have a song I wrote with David Cook that will be on his debut album out November 18. The song is called “Avalanche”. You may recall an old song titled “Avalanche” that I would play at shows, but this is a new song. I always loved the title and finally got the song right working with David.

  • spritely

Beyond all the other considerations, these collaborations (for either David) are such a good marketing tool for everybody, because of the cross-pollination of music fans. It’s going to be fun dissecting the influence this writer or that writer had on our own guys, or what influence they had on the other singers. It’s cool that Ezra says in his blog that Avalanche is a name of a song he has sung before, but this is a new version and that working on it with David Cook allowed him to get it right. Of course, I have no idea how that worked in real life, but it sounds rewarding for both of them.

p.s. Does anybody know if there are Popularity Bars for albums on itunes? And if so, how to find them?

  • LK08

I love the face he makes after he mentioned “Light On”. I wonder what he is thinking?

BTW- I read one of the main DA sites and maybe one person said something about the DA comment in this video. Several people defended it and brushed it off as joking.

  • dante

Thanks for posting the Grapes of Wrath link Maturin!!!
I don’t remember seeing it – what a great interview with the 2 Davids.
I love watching their reactions to each other – they could totally do a comedy routine in addition to a duet. Seriously!

I too am confused about the preorder for DC’s album. Since I have already purchased Light On, will I be paying for it twice if I preorder? It does seem like the complete my album option would be better, but it sounds like you get a bonus track if you preorder? What are others doing?

  • cheese

Apparently the bonus track “My Last Request” is only available if you pre-order on iTunes. (I guess until 11:59 on 11/17). The track does say “pre-order only” next to it.

I was not charged for Light On when I pre-ordered the album (I actually seem to have received 2 copies of LO for free). I also received a message saying that I had previously purchased “part of the song Light On.” WTF? Yeah, I just bought the first verse and the guitar riff? Huh?

I think I’ll cancel my effed up pre-order and re-pre-order it to see what happens with LO.

cheese, you had an iTunes glitch. If doesn’t show up in your “manage pre-orders” then you didn’t really pre-order it even if iTunes is saying you did. Once your pre-order goes through, you will be charged for LO and it will appear in your purchase history.

I love the news bits aboout the songs…who wrote what and how DC feels about them…but I am so glad that none have been leaked. I wanna sit down, put the CD on and let Cookie take me on a journey…listening to each song in its entirety and how one leads into the next.

    SQUEE! Can. NOT. wait.
