"Bar-ba-sol" and "Permanent" sound most intriguing. I love the rhythm of "Come Back to Me" and "I Did it for You." Now that we have lyrics, I also love the lyrics to CBTM. And that part at the beginning of the snippet really gets me: "When you find you, come back to me..." GAH! I love it. "Mr. Sensitive" should be interesting. I'm also thinking "Lie" will be a tearjerker. I wasn't as taken by "Life on the Moon" and "Heroes" as most other people here were, but that could easily change with the full songs. I wonder if the full album will turn up for streaming next week, like Archie's has... I’m so excited about this album, it’s getting ridiculous.

I think Zephyr11 mentioned that the songs have interesting intros that we're not hearing in the snippets. I haven't seen any other comments, but I can't say I spend a lot of time on the fan sites. After reading the lyrics, I'm really impressed that RCA supported David writing such highly personal songs, particularly about the whole Idol experience. I certainly never thought I'd hear anything like "Bar-ba-sol" or "Mr. Sensitive" on an Idol album. I can already smell the "Archie is the real winner" stuff in the air, but I'm really happy that David (seemingly) got to make the album he wanted to make. It must have been pretty amazing for David to write a song like "Permanent" with his own idol.
