    That was cute

  • Teresa75

“They love me at the Gap…” – oh Cookie, watch it there….arrogance can sneak up when you least expect it….

  • Colleen

I loved hearing David Cook say he went to shop for some underwear for the New York trip at the Gap. (He didn’t send someone else to do this errand, but went to the store himself!)
Imagine working at the Gap, making minimum wage and having the newest American Idol walk in and ask you to help him pick out some underwear.
Can you hear them screaming, “OMG……..It’s David Cook” at the top of their lungs?
I bet the GAP clerk got an autograph, a photo and a huge story to tell all their friends. Hope it was a true fan who got the unexpected pleasure!
    Way-To-Go Cookie!
    Keep it real.

  • AInoob

Very cute. Good to hear they may be taking a few days off after this trip before they start preparing for the tour.

I’m glad both fans got tickets, they both deserved them just for agreeing to do something so cheesy on national television, lol. And can I just say how I’m glad they didn’t find tweens, cougars or grannies to represent either David’s fanbase…just your average teenager it seemed like.

I didn’t take the Gap comment as being arrogant…for some reason I had assumed he meant he was a regular shopper there and that’s why they loved him. Then again, I may be projecting since that’s what I mean when I say they love me at a store. But I can see how it would be open to interpretation.

  • Teresa75

Yeah, he may not have meant anything by it. It just seems little things he’s saying throughout these interviews lately are starting to border on arrogant. He tends to take over the duo and group interviews too like he’s already annointed himself the spokesperson. I mean yes, he did win and all, but I just prefer someone who doesn’t feel the need to jump in and grab the spotlight so much. Michael does it too. Love both Cookie and Michael still, just getting slightly annoyed at them this past week, that’s all. Archie’s interviews have been honestly the most entertaining and funny for me personally to watch.

  • meme

I realize that this is minor but DC and DA are wearing me out in their interviews this week by continually saying uhh-and uhh when they are responding to questions from the media. :zip_ee:

  • hapi

Imagine having to weigh/consider every word ya say so it won’t be taken wrong and yet still be somewhat spontaneous..difficult to do. I imagine I’d really blow it if it were me ha ha. re: DC’s hair..wish he wouldn’t wet/paste down that front part. but love ‘em! They are both great.

  • dulce

I didn’t get anything other than sincerity from either of these contestants. DC has a very deadpan humor and some people (who don’t get either sarcasm or anything like that) will totally miss the boat. There is nothing that either of these two can do that will please everyone so I sincerely hope that they do what they feel is right and that is it. The best part about growing up is realizing that you don’t have to like everyone and not everyone has to like you. I hope these contestants continue to be themselves in these interviews.

BTW, the only people getting worn out by anything are the fans (here and elsewhere) who follow everything that they do. They are going to say the same thing at each of these interviews. Celebrities do it ALL THE TIME when they do press for movies/TV shows etc. It’s called the company line and they tow it.

  • http://www.myspace.com/swood1104 Sarah

Uh, the GAP comment could have been made in jest. Besides since when would it hurt a rock musician to have a hint of arrogance, anyway?

Technically, as the winner, he IS the spokesperson for this year’s crew. When he’s interviewed with another contestant, the questions that aren’t specific to another contestant will most likely directed to him. But omg, it’s not like he doesn’t let others have a chance to speak, fer cryin out loud.

  • Teresa75

Oh damn…stop getting so defensive. Cook certainly doesn’t need you to defend him. I like him, but I gave my honest opinion about how it came across to me. Simple as that.

And I DO very much GET sarcasm thank you, but that’s not how it came across to me at all. I’ve gotten many of his other sarcastic jokes quite well….this one did not come off as such to me. Deal with it.

  • chachi

You know who I love? Cocky McSmugface.

Awesome interview, mj. Thanks for posting.

  • http://inkdbylilyanna.com carolina

teresa, he is the spokesperson — #1.

    Seek and you shall find.

  • mar_4DC

I totally agree with AInoob about David Cooks comment just meaning he’s a regular shopper at the GAP, definately not being fulll of himself IMHO. Also loved how Archie totally jumped to David’s defense when they were discussing Simon’s harsh critisism of David Cooks performance during the final. He was actually very forceful. Never saw that from him before. He’s getting much better in his interviews.

  • http://inkdbylilyanna.com carolina

    heh. Tell me if I got this right . . . .

You are allowed to pan DC at every given opportunity but no one is allowed to respond? (talk to yourself much?)

  • http://myspace.com/saltwatercures pj

I love my rockers a tad arrogant and sexy. I like my folk singers earnest and passionate. Great season!

  • baxter

“Deal with it”….uhhh you might want to hit those guidelines for a quick refresher….just sayin!! :)

  • Teresa75

You are allowed to pan DC at every given opportunity but no one is allowed to respond? (talk to yourself much?)

Sorry you see it as panning. It was merely an observation. I shouldn’t be attacked for having an opinion.

  • http://www.myspace.com/swood1104 Sarah

I shouldnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t be attacked for having an opinion.

    Neither should we.

    Ooooh, ITA, pj!!!

And thanks for all of the fabulous vids today, MJ. You’ve been working hard!!!

  • Pam

I love my rockers a tad arrogant and sexy. I like my folk singers earnest and passionate. Great season!

    Go pj! :clap_tb:

Honestly, I didn’t see the Gap comment as arrogant at all. I agree with the majority here on their interpretation on the comment. I also took it that he is a regular shopper there, nothing more than that.

Before I forget my manners, than you MJ. :D

  • http://inkdbylilyanna.com carolina

*carolina shakes head* — so, as you see it, your response is an observation and others responses are opinions which we’re not allowed to have?

    See Sarah at 10;10 PM.

You most certainly are allowed to have an opinion — see the rules.

  • hollygo9

omg, they are going to be throwing GAP brand undies at him during the tour now.

  • KrazeeK120

GAP employees should refuse to sell boxer briefs to any woman over 40.

  • chachi

GAP employees should refuse to sell boxer briefs to any woman over 40.

    LMFAO, kk.

It’s a good thing I’m far younger, so I’m free to throw as many underpants as I wish. It’s too bad I have no arm, and I’d just launch it into the person’s head in front of me. It would be hilarious to sew a giant pair of granny underpants out of like…a boat sail or something, and try to heave them up on stage.

  • http://myspace.com/girlgeek mj

    BANNED

    Deal with it.

  • hollygo9

It would be hilarious to sew a giant pair of granny underpants out of likeà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦a boat sail or something

that would bring new meaning to the term ‘fall into the gap’.
Thanks for making us all think about your boxers, Cookie.

  • lovegoodmusic

I understood the GAP comment as being part of Cookà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s dry humor. And besides the sales-clerks probably love him over there for being a frequent shopper (sales commissions etc.).

Lets face the fact that Cook just won American Idol and probably hasnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t had enough time to hire a housekeeper. Hence he purchases oodles and oodles of boxer briefs, and throws them out after heà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s worn them. How can anyone say anything bad about this? Geeze, at least he wears clean under garments!

Congratulations David Cook on your American Idol win!

  • ianamy

The gap comment does come off very arrogant. But at least this time he’s not putting down another contestant. He must be draining so all these little things slip out.

  • erennick

I for one, love the Gap line because it seems like he is flirting with his female fanbase (“boxer-briefs”). So funny to me… Between that and the comment in the Idolatry video about embracing the fact that he is “accidental cougar bait” come across as really endearing to me.

Archie is getting better and better at these interviews, but was definitely stalling with this guy and I found Cookie to be helpful in keeping it going. And the hug was adorable!

  • http://inkdbylilyanna.com carolina

I don’t understand why the gap comment came off as arrogant at all.

When I shop my regular stores, they love me too!

ianamy, which contestant did he put down?

  • Kirsten

Lets face the fact that Cook just won American Idol and probably hasnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t had enough time to hire a housekeeper. Hence he purchases oodles and oodles of boxer briefs, and throws them out after heà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s worn them. How can anyone say anything bad about this

Because it’s not so hot for the environment to be tossing things away instead of cleaning them? LOL. (you asked for a reason somebody might object ;-) . Doesn’t he know why they have those bags with little forms in the hotel rooms? Does he think it’s some really boring kind of crossword puzzle? You’re on expenses dude. Screw Nigel over. Don’t just get the undies washed, get them drycleaned!!!11!!!ELEVENTY-ONE!!!!*

I didn’t even listen to the interview, so I don’t even know if he was arrogant (is he really buying underwear by the crate?), but he’s going to get accused of it. I remember when people were ranting that Taylor and Jordin got to sing more songs than the others on tour. Imagine! It’s like how winners in track meets at school are pratically made to apologize for beating the others.

*One set of contestants on the Amazing Race famously wore paper underwear to avoid the laundry problem (they don’t often have more than one night in a hotel). This worked fine until they had to jump in the water wearing nothing but underwear to retrieve the next clue. So, there is another avenue that Cookie could explore. LOL. Insemination to underwear. This is an interesting Idol day. Way TMI

  • davidcookrocks

iam really confused :confused_wp: why are people saying that david cooks fan base is women who are 40 years old or older HELLO IM 16 AND I LIKE DAVID COOK WAY MORE THAN ARCHULTA AND ALL MY FRIENDS LIKE COOK MORE so please stop saying that cook only has a fanbase of middle aged women because that is crap… and the hole thing about cook being arogant is a bunch of crap because didnt you see him clapping for archulta after he won and wanting the rest of the people with him when he sang that shows he isnt full of himself he also didnt even think he was going to win so SHUT UP he isnt arogant… YOU ROCK DC IAM SOOOO HAPPY THAT YOU WON!!!! :laugh_tb: :jittery_tb:

  • colette

OK, different perspective on THE GAP comment (can’t believe we’re all parsing this):

I thought he meant, “Yeah, they love me at the GAP….” ironically — as in, “I’m real big in mall stores, but I can’t get arrested anywhere else…”

A little disingenuous perhaps, but funny. He could have talked about being mobbed on the street, but he didn’t go there……

Irony! I love that in an Idol….

Also, I think the AI folks run them ragged and really flirt with over-exposure. I mean, are they hitting every single celebrity interview show in existence? Three or four a day? Too much, people! And that MTV thing with the girls in fake boxing gloves, duking it out? Criminy. I bet he can’t wait to get back to making music….I know I can’t wait for him to get back to it….

  • astolat

mj, I am not sure where this would go — it doesn’t seem like it fits with headlines? So please delete away if inappropriate, but, FYI, Cook’s album is now up for preorder on Amazon.

  • davidcookrocks

just to let you know that cd thats available to preorder is the one he is going to start recording analog heart is still not available :furious_tb:

  • Kirsten

So please delete away if inappropriate, but, FYI, Cookà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s album is now up for preorder on Amazon.

Wow. It’s up for order already? That’s a record. And it’s up to 70 on the rankings. LOL. I remember when the Taylor fans got trashed for doing that too.

Oh, this is going to be an interesting year.

Cookie is already pledging to put that coronation song on his CD? I hope it’s not reflective of the rest of the songs. Maybe Nigel is saving some bucks (I hear that Archie dude went off-script and not only sang lyrics that weren’t approved, but also bought some mac nuts from the hotel mini-bar so Nigel has to economize where he can) and they’ll have him record 12 of the coronation songs that didn’t make the cut.

ETA: I think annoula is agreeing with my first post. I can’t imagine that she agrees that Nigel should have Cookie record 13 coronation songs. Actually, “13 Coronation Songs” sounds like a great title for an Indie movie.

  • annoula

I agree with your last paragraph, Kirsten.

Yeah, it was definitely like he shopped so much at the GAP and gave them so much business that of course they love him. (Hell, he just gave them a great advertisement. If they don’t love him now, they should!)

Even if you thought it was arrogant, there were a few non-arrogant things he did that definitely balance things out. First, he basically said his brother’s voice was better than his. Then, he let Archie sing first from the phone book. Finally, he really acknowledged his fans by pointing out the gifts they gave him, which I thought was really respectful (of course it could be taken as arrogant because you could say he’s showing off that he has a lot of fans. UGH.) Nobody’s perfect, and everybody has an ego. He’s been the freaking center of attention wherever he goes and people voted for him millions of times. If it doesn’t go to his head a little, then there’s something wrong with him.

  • RemusL

Teresa75, it’s not really fair to take one isolated DC comment out of the general context of what he was saying. If you watch the entire interview, he comes across as humble, deferential and always inclusive where Archie is concerned. And since when does saying that folks at the Gap love you translate into one being full of oneself anyway? He might as well have said he was popular at Kmart or Pizza Hut. Besides, the Gap comment followed right on the heels of him telling the “adoring public” that he went to a store to buy underwear. Yeah, what an arrogant guy. :rolleyes_wp:

  • Trina

mj, I am not sure where this would go à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬’ it doesnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t seem like it fits with headlines? So please delete away if inappropriate, but, FYI, Cookà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s album is now up for preorder on Amazon.

This can’t be normal, can it? Putting it up for pre-order before it’s even started the recording process?

  • http://myspace.com/girlgeek mj

That gap phrase is a very common expression. It means, “I shop there so often, and spend so much money, the people who work there love me.” Insert your favorite store, whatever it is. I’ve heard that sort of phrase used many times, and I’ve used it myself. I don’t find it particularly arrogant.

I have to say, the slicing and dicing and parsing to the nth degree of these post-Idol interviews by the fans is always amusing to watch. The winner (or co-winner ;) ) is often accused of being arrogant or rude, even when they’re trying their best to be humble. There is absolutely no way to win that battle. No way. And if they aren’t being particularly humble? Helloooo 1000 post threads! It can get might ugly. LOL.

  • awilliams

Collette made an excellent observation. These kids have been run ragged the last months with fierce intensity the last few weeks. I agree about the over-exposure in the media. People may come off differently when they’re exhausted and trying to please everyone.

Both Cook and Michael Johns are kind of take charge ‘alpha’ males. Both are succinct with their observations. I would expect Cook to answer most of the questions as the AI winner and spokesman. Plus, as we saw in the Larry King interviews with the top 10…they tend to laugh and speak over each other alot. SOMEONE has to take charge!

Cook and David A. are probably just now feeling the impact of all the attention and the interviews. The lack of sleep, flights, always “on” for television and radio… must be catching up with them. Wonder if they have a private chat about how to answer questions? Cook appears genuinely fond of David A.

The other thing is that they were in quite a bubble over the last months. Now they come out and see the fans and are subject to all the media; good and bad. It must be a bit disconcerting and overwhelming at times.

Oh and about the Gap comment. I’ve said things like that when I’ve spent alot of money at a store. Heh heh…maybe Cook could do a Gap commercial in his boxers… Guitar Hero in front of the Gap…heh.

  • http://myspace.com/girlgeek mj

Actually, that bit of info about Cook’s album would have been better off in the Headlines thread, or even the Chart thread–somebody just posted it there too. The top thread is not meant to be a catch all thread. I’m not going to delete it, however, because people have already started to comment on it.

    Hi Cookies and Archeys!

Our two guys definitely love and respect each other. So why can’t we just love and respect one another? Though i favor one over the other, and i was fierce on defending my idol when he was bashed by fans and media. But having seen all these post idol interviews, with them together, or individually, just made me realize that really, they only have so much respect for one another. Let’s just support these two great guys in their journey. I think they will appreciate it more. Peace! love you all, archeys and cookies! have a great day.

  • sumidol

David Cook to me is like the big daddy of the group and I see his jumping in as helping out the others when he sees them floundering, then, when he does jump in they seem to appreciate it. He defends, embraces, leads AND joins in when he is with the whole group. I love him more with each interview. I just miss seeing Jason too – boo hoo

  • lovegoodmusic

    Kirsten:

My post was meant to be funny to take the edge off of the naysayers comments. Heck, I was a Cook fan from the top 24, so I send nothing but good vibes his way.

Maybe I should have said that Cook purchases oodles of underwear because he plans on throwing them out into the crowd at some of his concert tours (the concerts that heà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ll perform after his first album is released).

à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“One set of contestants on the Amazing Race famously wore paper underwearà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ That is hilarious thanks for sharing.

This is the first time posting so not sure how.

I found an interesting article from Canada mentioning his dating could hurt his career right now.

    http://www.ecanadanow.com/news/entertainme…g-20080529.html

This was a good brief article. The message boards all over have talked about more than his music. And many fans not happy.

  • http://inkdbylilyanna.com carolina

They’ll all stumble, some more than others because no Idol is perfect. (except Jason~ ! he just stammers, bless him).

Overly invested only makes the one whose overly invested appear flatoutnuts.

That said, Jason for President. :cool_wp:

DC for Ambassador of Peace :king_tb:

DA for … well, he needs to intern first.

    Musiclves — like he cares.

I just had time to watch this interview. Gosh, I thought DC was just making a statement, sounding like a normal guy. I really don’t think it has sunk in yet about him winning AI. And, could Archie be any more adorable?

I imagine by now, they’re both sick and tired of doing interviews. I know I would be.

Yeah…I agree with this. But notice in the newest of interviews, even when pushed, DC doesn’t talk about KC anymore. He’s gone back to being very cryptic, which is probably what he should have done in the first place, but he’s learning. He just seems so media savvy at times that it’s easy to forget that 6 months ago he was just some kid tending bar in the midwest whom nobody knew about or even cared about. What he said to the media re: KC is actually what he probably would have done in his old life, but now that he’s DC-the American Idol…things have to change. His PR person definitely set him straight and they couldn’t have put the kabosh on the KC talk soon enough.

Personally, I don’t care who he dates, but apparently lots of other fan girls do so…whatevs.

  • http://www.dancin.ca dancin

these guys are so cute together

i didnt find anything arrogant or anyting else about what david cook said… he just needed new stuff for the trip and i’m sure those people at the gap love him … hes COOKIE :)

if you wanna get on someone for the underwear thing chris brown NEVER wears the same underwear twice . *was in a fan question thing ..a quirk of his*

ty mj for these vids :)

  • wfowfowfo

I was just glad to see them both happy. Cook didn’t seem great at the Mike and Juliet show — he seemed pissed off to me. Wasn’t this taped the same day?

Anyway they had a good time at this one. What did Cook bend down to pick up after the silly boxing piece? The poor girls got tickets in their mouths (ott much?) and Cook bends down in the foreground to pick something up which he shares with Archey… was it bet money?

  • apaze1

Thanks for posting this MJ. I can wake up, drink my coffee, and get my AI news all in one place thanks to you.

This interview was a little different than the others without ALL the standard questions they have been getting. I loved, loved, loved that he had them actually sing the phone book. It was “molten hot”! LOL! I think they should do this in concert.

What I get from this is that Archie is VERY young. He seems a little lost and at a loss for words. I get the sense he kind of looks up to Cook like a big brother, and Cook is comfortable in that role. It seems like they have a good relationship with eachother.

Oh, and did you catch the guy in the green and white striped shirt at the beginning of part one jumping around like a nut? ha! ha!

  • IGetCranked

I just heard on the radio that David Archuleta is calling in on the Kidd Kraddick show this morning in case anyone is interested.

Sorry MJ about putting that info in this thread. I didn’t know where to go with it as the headline thread isn’t up yet.

  • MrsCastro

wfowfowfo, I noticed that too.. Cook picking up something and kind of waving it, but they didn’t show it again or comment…

Kirsten, you said (jokingly i believe): “I hear that Archie dude went off-script and not only sang lyrics that werenà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t approved, but also bought some mac nuts from the hotel mini-bar so Nigel has to economize where he can”

I just wanted to clarify for those who don’t just take it as a joke… he did not go off-script, against the producers wishes. He said in an interview this week that he had no clue he wasn’t supposed to sing that bit, and that nobody told him not to sing it, and that in fact it wasn’t even his or his dad’s idea to begin with! So, I’m a bit sensitive when I do read these things, even as jokes. I don’t appreciate it when I hear in random radio clips the djs joking about his dad beating him too… this is pure conjecture on their part, for all we know, it was cook’s dad beating on david cook, rather than archie’s dad. but, i would never ever joke about it b/c there is no truth behind it.

  • reinharv

What I get from this is that Archie is VERY young. He seems a little lost and at a loss for words. I get the sense he kind of looks up to Cook like a big brother, and Cook is comfortable in that role. It seems like they have a good relationship with eachother.

I totally agree….I find Cook to be the nicest guy and he does have a very dry sense of humor which often flies over people’s heads. I don’t find him cockey at all but genuine and trying to make light of the situation he’s in and he clearly doesn’t take himself that seriously. These poor guys are asked the same questions all the time. I’ve seen Cook protect Archie–particularly when Archie was asked about his father’s interference and/or influence and he constantly praises Archie. I’ve seen Cook defend Jason when a stupid emailer on Larry King inferred Jason was spacey because he used to smoke weed. Cook is definitely the spokesman of the group because he clearly knows what he’s doing and how to speak in public. I wasn’t a fan of Archie’s but he seems like a nice kid also and they have such a good relationship (brotherly) that it has made me warm up to Archie as he clearly looks up to Cook. Well, who wouldn’t look up to Cook?

  • MrsCastro

Well, Cook IS 8 years older than Archie, and when you are younger, this IS a pretty large age gap. I don’t think there should be any surprise that he will act very young compared to Cook, who actually comes across as a little older than 25 with his somewhat stoic personality.

As for their brotherly relationship, I’m loving it. But David Archuleta is so loveable that I can’t imagine anybody not wanting to protect and take care of him, and just totally love him!!!

  • AInoob

I think the media needs new material to discuss with these guys. The questions they keep fielding about appealing to cougars, the negative media surrounding Archie’s dad, Simon’s apology, etc. is getting tired. I understand that they are fresh off AI and until they release something, there isn’t much else to discuss in these interviews, but I can imagine how tiresome it must be for them to keep answering the same questions everywhere they go.

As to the spokesperson question, didn’t he say to the other contestants on LKL, I hope you’ll let me be your spokesperson (or something along those lines).

I forgot who it was that said (after the KC hoopla started) Cook needed PR, but I’m thinking it must’ve kicked in! In the headlines thread yesterday I posted a link to an Access Hollywood interview where they mentioned KC and he said “its complicated” and then held up his hand, wiggled his fingers and said, he isn’t married. LOL, good PR move since a lot was made of his date with KC by his fans. I’m a huge Cook fan but I’m totally okay with him having a personal life. I do.

  • MrsCastro

    AInoob,
A lot of people don’t watch all the various interviews, they maybe catch one.. so it only makes sense that they talk about the most relevant questions that people in general want to know about or hear. It’s only the die-hards that follow their every move that get bored w/the questions, but it’s to be expected.

  • Kirsten

I just wanted to clarify for those who donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t just take it as a jokeà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦ he did not go off-script, against the producers wishes. He said in an interview this week that he had no clue he wasnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t supposed to sing that bit, and that nobody told him not to sing it, and that in fact it wasnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t even his or his dadà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s idea to begin with!

LOL. And he didn’t eat the mac nuts from the mini-bar either.

Actually, I was poking fun at the entire concept that he “had gone off script” and “sung a bit of a song that hadn’t been approved”. I never believed that rumour for a minute. Nigel scripts those shows down to the last second. Nobody is sneaking any lyrics by him. Plus, it was confirmed by the people who attended the rehearsals that David had sung the same words. The entire rumour was absurd (along with the rumours that Jeff was everything from a Master Arranger to Master Psycholigist to Master Hacker to Master Publicist…you get the drift). I tend to mock the absurd.

It is interesting to hear confirmation that it wasn’t David or his Dad. Even more interesting, it was somebody from the show who suggested those lines. Very knollish. Where did TMZ get the leak? TMZ seems totally connected with the show. What was the endgame? Dun-Duh-Dun-Dun!

  • wfowfowfo

It really is time to get my life back in order. It’s the “end of the month” and I’ve got real work to get together. I doubt my salesmen would take an “I’ve been obsessing over David Cook and too busy to get your commissions together” as a valid excuse for lack of pay checks….

I’m going to miss all these D2 fixes, but it’s time for the to get to work on the tour and leave us along for a bit.

They have all defended each other. When Simon bashed one of Jason’s song, Archie defended him onstage. Archie defended Sysha on LKL. Archie constantly gives Cooks his props, going so far as to mention his friends loving Cook and having his songs on their Myspace. This is no one way street here. It’s easy to be magnanimous when you win. Doing so when you lose is just as great. Both of these guys deserve all the credit. They are amazing human beings and it shows in these intervies. I mean Archie could be going around like McTatas talking about he’s a winner too. In retrospect the kid is wise beyond his years.

Lisa emailed me a link to a radio interview, and apparently, the PR people are telling interviewers they can no longer ask questions about KC.

That couldn’t happen soon enough for me! lol.
