Awww’ ¦ I love Archie. He is so sincere, and sweet, and fun! He has such a beautiful voice. I bought his Christmas CD and it is absolutely gorgeous. My sister and I were listening to it in October! That was a first for us, but it was that good! I have to say, I had to go to 3 Walmarts, before I could find it. The first two were sold out already. I bet his Christmas concert will be wonderful. He has a perfect voice for Christmas songs. The closest venue for me is over two hours away, so I probably won’t be able to go, but I would love to!

The closest venue for me is over 3 and half hours. Well, close to 4 hours considering a big city traffic. But we are going!! Living in a small town doesn’t provide us with many opportunities for nationally known artists’ concerts. There are rumors about possible concert song selections, and I can’t wait!!

About the sales of CFTH’ ¦..I know he’s sold 49,000 of this Christmas albums so far, but I don’t know what the usual expectations for Christmas albums are and wonder if the amount he has sold is considered good for a new artist. Anybody know of singers in the past, new artists, who have put out a holiday album and how many they sold the first year of the album. Since it is a seasonal product, what are the final sales expectations for this album by the season’s end? Just kind of curious

pulled this from the album thread on the pulse music proboards… i’m not that familiar with the historical data about the trajectory/expectations for christmas cd’s, but looking at excerpted chart of christmas cd’s released around the same time last year, [compiled by rodze]…barring top 2008 holiday sellers faith hill and harry connick’s numbers, he looks to be in good position to equal, and hope of all hopes, top some of those remaining numbers… i think bocelli will be tough to beat this year when the dust settles, but best guesstimate – david should top at least 100k… it’s gonna require more serious numbers gurus and chart watchers for anything more in depth

Archie’s blog always put a smile on my face. He is so happy and carefree. It’s nice to know what he is up to which always fun stuff.
Can’t wait for Dec.3 , his Anaheim concert tour. yeah Archie go. Can’t wait to hear for Pat A Pan and the rest of the CFTH songs sang live.

Yeah, Andre Bocelli is gonna be tough competition. I’m just tickled pink that David is beating out Bob Dylan right now. His CFTH is currently #75 on the Billboard Top 200 while Dylan’s album is #95. CFTH has also been moving back up the iTunes charts. It’s currently at #68 overall at iTunes and #29 in Music overall at Amazon.

Great vlog! I woouldn’t be surprised if David’s album is ready early 2010, since he has done a lot of recording in Nashvile, New York and LA.
I’m sure he will resume recording early Jan after the Holdiay tour and Holidays. It’s great that Jive has not put a time frame on it. Meantime Christmas from the Heart is fantastic and doing fairly well in sales.(competing with Andre Bocelli isn’t easy ha! ha!) In any case David is doing great and enjoying family time and rehearsal. Thanks for the support for David M.J.

Oh boy wished I looked as good as he does just getting up.
Oh well but the vlog was as cute as ever and loved he was comfy enough to do one at home with his sisters and new family additions.
