I’ve been in that airport. I think if you’re in the tunnel, it means you’re flying Northwest. At least every time I’ve been in that tunnel, I was flying Northwest.

Just a quick blog done in the airport haha. We were on our way to Indianapolis and had a layover in Detroit, where they had this really weird tunnel. Cook helped keep the camera steady for me. Go Cook! We were on the same flight haha.

What the heck is the matter with our stalking skills? Why weren’t there Cookie and Archie fans waiting in that tunnel? Can you imagine just happening to breeze by while they were filming? Actually the Detroit airport is one of the best. And who gave Archie that shirt? They deserve a medal. He seems about 13 in this vlog. Love it ha ha. :tongue1_tb:

Ahhh! What’s wrong with me today! LOL.

OMG! I’m going to be in that tunnel on Friday to fly to Tulsa. Dang it! If only I had known they were passing through Detroit. I’m only 20 minutes away. I would have totally stalked the airport!

That tunnel is bizarre. I’ve been through it probably 6-7 times. It’s always very trippy with the music and lights. I just stand on the moving walkway and take it all in. The older people seem quite freaked out by it. :smile_wp:

Whoa, that is a trippy tunnel. I’m relatively new to AI so I’m not sure if its normal for the top 2 to develop such a close relationship (maybe due to all the time they have to spend in each other’s company) or if the Davids are just unique, but I enjoy watching their interactions. They both come across as genuinely liking the other and I get no sense of competitiveness or trying to one-up the other (and the tour is almost over and I haven’t heard any reports stating otherwise). Big David treats little David the way you would a younger sibling and vice versa. I think its so cute, I really love me some D2 :biggrin_wp:

LOL that tunnel is “trippy.” That seems to be a new favorite Archie word–he used it to describe a pair of those slotted Kanye sunglasses.

Archie is a creature of habit (like we all are, really). He uses the same words over and over, and never has there been a blog by Archie without at least one “haha.”

If you ask him how he’s doing, he’ll say, “I’m doing well.” Not “I’m good.” Not “I’m fine.” Not “I’m ok.”

“I’m doing well.”

They were walking all over that airport together. Imagine bumping into them. The two Davids. Pretty much the biggest AI finale ever competition-wise. There they are… walking around the airport in Detroit together.

Very adorable video. I think they are true friends and admirers of each other.
The fact that they’re in the airport and no one is bothering them just shows how closed off the AI world is. They’re big stars within it but not yet big enough outside it. Both are off to excellent starts though and I think have enough talent and smarts to hopefully have long careers.

Archies just love it when Cook helps out DA. They can see that there is no competition between these two and find it endearing when Cook treats him well and they see the obvious brotherly love.

It would probably annoy me coming from anyone else, but I love the haha’s in Archie’s blogs. It’s so cute because it’s literally how he talks– ending every other sentence with a haha! So great that Cook points this out in that vid from DC. And I love how Cook really appreciates and likes to comment each time Archie uses a new complimentary term to describe him– like, “he called me ‘neat’”, or ‘lovely’, or (haha) ‘dabomb.com’ (read this from an old fan report). Love these two. Best top 2 ever, for sure!
